I pulled a muscle in my back packing the moving truck to move to new apartment. My husband pulled a hamstring moving a safe up two flights of stairs by hand. So when it got down to the large stuff we just where too tired and sore to try and move our 2 couches (one a queen hidabed), 2 full five foot tall file cabinets and 2 book cases up two flights of stairs so we stopped for the night. I woke up and could hardly move. So I got on my phone and started looking for movers and found Low Budget Movers. Brian was able to fit us into the schedule short notice. Everything was done fast and easy over the phone and when the 2 young men showed up they where professional and had the job done in 30 minutes. I didn't mind paying for the two hour minimum because they where able to it on short notice and they did it FAST. I will use them again.

Low budget movers drastically underestimated the time and money it took for our move. They promised to send their largest truck but then said it was out of service. It then required two trips. They did agree to forgo the charge for the additional travel time. The move ended up costing me almost double what I budgeted.The movers themselves were great guys. Very cooperative and worked hard. However the attitude of the company was unacceptable. When I complained about how severely they underestimated the time and cost for the move they finally offered to take 10% off. When I called to settle they then said that it would only be 10% off the second day's service. This one day move took two days. I was told it would take 5 to 6 hrs. It took 10 hrs plus another hour or so of additional travel time. When I pressed that they said they would give 10% off and that should be for the entire move... not just for the additional time on the second day that should never have happened they basically told me to go sue them. They said they always win. What does that tell you. They must have been sued many times however the fine print of their contracts protects them IMO.I would strongly recommend to not hire this company. Get a reputable company that sends someone out to provide a free estimate and will stand behind it.

These guys are great! Jimmy and Deonte moved our stuff today, they were quick, efficient and most important, careful. I would recommend these guys to anyone looking and will be referring family and friends to them.

Such a wonderful experience using this company. They were in and out within two hours and very kind gentleman. I was very hesitant to use the moving company since we are only going a short distance they moved all of our larger pieces in our home and did it all under $200 which is absolutely incredible. That was unbelievable to me therefore be prepared to leave them a good tip because they do such a wonderful job for such a good price. If we choose to move again or go long-distance they will definitely be our first contact hopefully it won't be anytime soon though! Thank you!

Called on Sunday to inquire about availability with help the following day. Low Budget Movers was available to assist, and did so excellently. I was not charged extra for my last minute request. Two strong guys arrived on time, moved nineteen heavy boxes ranging in weight between 75 and 250 lbs each into the truck. Delivered them in a timely fashion, unloaded carefully and placed boxes where desired all in under 2 hours without any damage or complaints. I will happily call Low Budget Movers in the future when I need assistance.
