Let's face it. You're reading these reviews because you need to find a moving company that's affordable, reliable, efficient, and can get the job done. Moving can be extremely stressful, but Express Home Moving literally helps to 'lighten the load' :)No hidden fees, flexible scheduling (I needed a Friday evening move), and trustworthy, personable guys. Rest easy knowing that the job will get done...even in the heat of an Arizona summer.

WARNING: If something breaks/goes wrong they will be rude, agressive, and accuse you for the damage. They'll pretend they are going to resolve the issue then waste your time. They only have limited liability insurance and can't offer any sort of help. Be warned! I originally posted a review back at the beginning of June after having used Express Home Moving. While they originally appeared to have done a great job I discovered a day or two later (I wasn't living at the new house due to lack of water and internet) that my $600 smart TV had been damaged in the move. I believe this to have been an unfortunate accident and felt I was pretty calm and respectful about the issue. That said, the events following this incident showed the type of customer service Express Home Moving will really give you if something happens to go wrong. After originally emailing about the issue - in which I explained my first step was to see if it was covered under my warranty they were relatively nice and respectful. But once I emailed back explaining that is wasn't covered under warranty due to it being from physical damage they didn't reply for over a week. That was when I posted my first yelp review as it didn't seem they wanted to help me correct the issue. It wasn't until after I posted the review that Ray called me with excuses and told me "not to damage the name of his company." I called and emailed him back agreeing to take the review down while we attempted to resolve the issue. Ray asked me to get a quote for him of the cost of repairs. I attempted to do this but Best Buy doesn't do this practice - and they were the ones who inspected the TV originally. Best Buy went above and beyond and sent me an email from an official bestbuy email about the cost of the part and labor but was unable to provide something on a professional letterhead, as they don't have any. Ray continued to insist he needed this piece of paper, I explained multiple times this was an impossible thing to provide. In going back and forth Ray began to get agressive and rude. Here are a few snippets from his emails to me: "My insurance company will not proceed without the current valuation of your TV that has now been discontinued and as mentioned an actual BEST BUY geek squad invoice. Please understand that you paid $480 for a move that is normally $900+ dollars, not to mention the 3rd floor. To go off this email at nearly $500 is giving you a free move, and it just doesn't work that way."I explained that1. The TV was less than a year old, and technology is constantly being improved and the fact the TV is discontinued had nothing to do with anything. 2. If he had quoted me $900 I never would have used his service - I got several other quotes for other companies around the same pricing and went with his company due to them being a referral from a friend (which he did not know until after the move was completed). 3. I wasn't asking for HIM to pay out of pocket. His insurance should cover the accidental damage. He continued to request the quote from Best Buy - he also began to question the damage to the TV. I invited him to come view the tv himself and take photos and also to accompany me to Best Buy to explain they couldn't get him a quote. He refused both opportunites. Since Best Buy was no longer an option I called every TV Repair place in town and it turns out most of them don't do quotes for repairs, and the few that do charge a fee to look at the TV and give a quote. I explained this to Ray - he then took over a week to reply. I had to email him again to ask what he'd like to do next. He finally got back to me and told me his insurance would only offer $0.60 per pound for the damaged tv - so what? Like $6? He then moved forward to accuse me of breaking my own TV saying my photos weren't of the same damage. See snipped from email below:" The only conclusion that I can come to is A-you damaged your own Tv or B-With it being discontinued obviously it may have been defective. I watched my guy carry your Tv and I personally strapped it in. I will no longer be moving LCD TV's due to this situation. The only solution I can offer once again is 60 cents per pound of your TV for limited liability insurance."I'm now out a less than 7 month $600 smart TV and have been provided the worlds worst customer service despite my calm and understanding demeanor. Don't use this company unless your willing to take the risk.

We just recently moved and using Express was the best thing we could have done. I've spent my life as a living gypsy and can't count how many times I've moved, how many cities I've lived in or how many zip codes the United States Postal Service has under my numerous names. I therefore think I am more than qualified to write a review about people who have helped me transfer my ever loving life of transit.  Ray is the best. Communication is everything in all we do, especially when moving our cherished (sometimes stupid) belongings that we all care so much about.  Simply talk to this man and he gets it. Let's be honest, common sense is not so common and this guy has what you can't teach...a whole soul of common sense. If it can be done, he will find a way.  Get at me if you would even need more info then this review. Peace out for now!~Mel

Ray and his Team were great for our move! We communicated several times over the phone and via email. Ray was always quick to respond and has great customer service. We moved on April 1. They showed up a few minutes late; but they had called to tell me they were running behind. I appreciated that. From the minute they arrived; they worked hard! I had expressed that we wanted to stay within the 4 hour time frame and they were sure to do that for us! They did stay a little over to help us set up some of the furniture at no extra charge! Thank you, Ray! The price is RIGHT on! The team is super! Call Express Home Moving--you won't be disappointed!

We recently had Ray and his team move us from Chandler to Scottsdale. I appreciated the upfront flat hourly rate and no extra hidden fees or travel charges. Scheduling was super easy and the guys showed up right on time...early in fact. The key to a good moving day, any project actually, is communication. State your expectations and ask the questions, no matter how absurd. Give the guys some direction, no one should be expected to read your mind. Know where your stuff is going to be placed at your final destination. Our move was smooth not only because the guys were professional, but also because we had great communication prior to, on the day, and even post move. Being hands on and involved definitely helps everyone. Ray is easy to work with and happy to hear you out. Guys were courteous to all, including my children. Moving heavy things around tight corners, up and down stairs, etc is a tough job! It's unreasonable to expect absolute perfection. When my valuables are shown due care, I can live with a bit of dirt on the side of my mattress, and some scuff on my decade old couch. We could've done with a few more blankets, but no harm done with some proper packing, and at the end of the day, they're just material things. Ray runs his business with integrity and I'm confident would take care of his customers should something genuinely go awry. Express Home Moving will be top of mind the next time I'm in need of some extra muscle power. Thank you guys!
