History

Established in 1979. Started in New York and moved To Arizona in 1999. I was moving for my cousin and teaching school. I was a Phys Ed teacher and kept losing job as schools dropped phys ed. So decided to start business that it took off because all the word of mouth of the outstanding work we did.

Okay there must be a problem if I am the second review on here!!! Anyways this was the worst company EVERRR i unfortunately was helping my friend find a mover and i came across this CO who offered me a deal and I went ahead and hired them. My friend didn't receive none of his belongings from when TOM had his people pick up on 12/31/13 til March 5th!!! So disappointing because I had contacted many companies and decided to go with this one. I would call him on behalf of my friend because he wouldn't answer his calls!! He sounds super nice with his convincing and charming voice like a sweet grandpa in an Italian New Yorker accent saying don't worry kid I am working on it just give me time!! After 3 months (March 5 2014) my friend received only part of his clothing but all furniture, kitchenware, bathroom stuff, jewelry, watches, cologne, and the rest of his clothing are still with Tom!!! He is rude and will probably go nuts when he reads this because when my friend wrote a review he called him cursing at him because he wrote on here! So my friends lawyer had him remove because otherwise, Tom wasn't going to sent his stuff!! Also, the voicemail to this # says Ramirez moving something but his receipt is DiMuras...fishy...Tom is a LIAR, do NOT trust him, he will steal your stuff!!!!!

NEVER NEVER USE DiMURA MOVERS!!! I would give him 0 starts if I could. Third time using & had no previous major problems but this is the 1st time I had anything valuable. Moved on May 10, 2016; DiMura's ad says "Fully Licensed and Insured," which I assumed meant insured for coverage, not by weight. Movers broke my $2,000 60" Samsung tv (last thing I did before leaving house to meet movers at storage unit was watch the wall-mounted tv; there is absolutely NO QUESTION they broke it; when Cox turned it on May 11, huge crack on lower right, screen half dark; after 3 weeks, it finally had no picture at all). DiMura told me I should have gotten extra insurance; when I asked why he didn't  bother telling me that BEFORE he moved it, I got no answer. I would have been happy to pay for extra insurance!!! His insurance will only cover $300 but he won't even put in a claim. I have at least 30 emails between us where he promises a replacement until he can get mine fixed (told me he has TWO smart tv flat screens I could use). He finally showed up after 2 weeks (Tuesday the 24th) with an ancient non-flat-screen, non-smart tv; the picture was so dark the writing on the bottom third of the screen was unreadable. He promised to come on Thursday the 26th with a good one and never showed & never responded to texts. He has made appointments multiple times previously to show up & didn't; multiple excuses, multiple promises. I also have a 30-minute recording of everything said when he delivered the crappy replacement tv (including telling me he didn't want to hear any of my "New York bullshit" anymore: this is what's known in psychology as "projection"). I don't want him doing this to anyone else. Nothing but lies from the start. Have contacted tv stations & Better Business Bureau & am trying to think of more ways to put him out of business.

After my initial review I was in contact with the owner. He apologized and offered to help with unpacking and moving furniture as a further apology. I declined, but appreciate his gesture.

I have no idea how they've received so many good reviews. This was a terrible moving experience.-They started the day by being 30+ minutes late. - One of the 2 movers would not stop going on about how hung over he was from the night before.- I was told when I booked the move that they would provide a mattress bag. They showed up without one. The first time one of them picked up my new $3000 mattress he left his filthy hand marks all over it. They then proceeded to plastic wrap it, which is good, except they used all of it up and only had enough to do half of 1 of my 2 sofas. So not only were the sofas pretty much uncovered but my fabric headboard and bed frame were left completely uncovered.- They put a nice size whole in my new sofa.- Every other piece of furniture was left unwrapped and repeatedly placed on barre concrete.- Once I called the owner to explain what was going on, instead of handling it like a professional, he started cursing about his guys.I guess the saying "you get what you pay for" stands true, just wish $60/hr would buy some level of service.Would never use this company again.

He took my stuff and doesn't want to send it to the place I gave to him. Every time he is Procrastinating me Telling I will send you tomorrow and tomorrow Last time he text me was cursing me and called my I'm not gonna send your stuff go fuck your self. The man his name Tom is fucking big lair and using this business to steal stuff and goods from people NEVER USE Dimura moving and storage LLC They will wrap you.
