I'm in the process of my first-ever full service move this week, provided by Ward North American of San Antonio. (Moving from Round Rock to San Antonio.) After 2 days most of my household goods are packed and loaded, and if the delivery service on the other end turns out to be half as good as the service on this end, I will be one very happy customer! Brad and his crew earned my trust right away by first putting down floor protection throughout my house, along with putting padding on the stairs bannister and the doorways. The crew has been ultra-careful and efficient, plus kind and courteous. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! (Well, I am hoping for one more thing: Brad said he will request that he and his guys be the delivery crew on the other end, since our goods are going into storage for 30 days. Fingers crossed!)

Ward North American is the worst moving company out there.I recently moved from San Antonio, TX to Rancho Santa Fe CA. Contacting North American was one of the worst decisions I have made in a long time.I contracted the packing/unpacking deal. My furniture arrived in terrible conditions and instead of unpacking they only piled up my belongings in one room. Then promised to come back the next day and do the rest, needless to say they never came back.After I called and complained about this, they washed their hands by telling me that I had to stop the driver from leaving until I was pleased with the unpacking. That because he had already left it was now my problem.They also called my wife with a really high tone and were really rude.I am writing this to try to help someone before they make the same mistake as me.Please no matter what, never use Ward North American.

Disappointing experience from timeliness (on loading day showed up hours late and did not leave until 11pm) to packing (still looking items4 months later.)  Final straw was when North American customer service refused responsibility for dishes we have not yet found (a $200 claim on a $13,000 out of pocket move.)  Certainly not where items should have been packed.  We are in temporary rental housing and had to leave dozens of boxes unopened.  NA feels I should have to open all my unopened wardrobe boxes to find missing dishes.  Moved eight times in last 20 years, all $12-20,000 moves.  WILL NOT use North American again.
