If you're looking for a moving company do not use this one!! If you simply have no choice, then I would suggest locking any valuables away in a safe place before the movers even arrived. My husband and I are both military so the military contracted River City Van & Storage for our move. Immediately, one of the women was incredibly rude and some point during the day, someone from the group stole two pieces of jewelry while they were packing and before I made my way upstairs to retrieve my jewelry. When I called the owner Robert Jonas he said, "I had movers for 17 years and they all take a polygraph...If you feel like someone stole something that call the police (I did)." I proceeded to inform him that I know the pieces in question were in the box I looked because I saw them there just last week (I just listed one piece for sale on ebay). He then told me, "Yeah, everybody says that." Implicating that this has happened before. My husband called from work and spoke to one the ladies that was packing and asked them all to leave since they wanted to steal things and she was incredibly rude to my husband. Then as I escorted everyone out of my home, the same lady who was rude to my husband began bantering, "I didn't steal anything. I work for a living." I responded, "I do too." And she said, "I work for you," upon which I responded, "I work so you can have your freedom." As she left the house she began yelling for me to get in my house and close the door so I asked to to step off my property upon which the same woman began threatening me from the street. I was a military brat my entire childhood and have been in the military myself for 8 years and have never seen nor experienced such unprofessional behavior from ANY moving company. Beware if you are using this company. And if you get ROSALINDA SALAZAR, SANDRA SALAZAR, MARCILLA SALAZAR, DANIELA MENDOZA, or MAGDALENA RAMIREZ, watch them like a HAWK!!
