I used Monster Movers and I had a fantastic experience! Roman, Steve and Greg were professional and extremely helpful. My car broke down on the highway to my new place so they came and picked up my furniture and boxes from the car shop and then took it to my new apartment without any hassle. They moved everything in very quickly! I would recommend them to everyone.

CON ARTISTS! DONT BELIEVE THESE REVIEWS THEY ARE FAKE!These people are total scammers. Look at these reviews...ripoffreport.com/moving-…bbb.org/central-texas/bu…Notice that if you scan all the way back to the beginning of the google reviews they had 4 "1 star" ratings in a row before these mysterious 5 star ratings started coming in!We were a military family and have moved all over using multiple movers and have never had an experience this bad. We were on a massive budget and my husband spoke to "Lisa" who quoted him a 4-6 hour job at $90 per hour. She also convinced my husband not to buy supplies from Lowe's because they got wholesale deals on boxes and would "pass that savings onto us". We bought a couple boxes the day before at Lowe's for $1.03 for larges. When they were done we were charged over $300 for 95 boxes!!! Out of their 3 man team only 1 actually worked. My husband and I packed almost the entire upstairs by ourselves. The 3 of us came down after 2 hours and the remaining 2 guys had done  NOTHING to the downstairs. I was shocked! I would have said something but I overheard him getting onto them while I cleaned out the refrigerator.  Later he insisted to his manager that never  happened and that I made it up! My husband and I were very upset and planning on speaking to the manager after the move was completed... thats when they handed us the bill for TWICE as much as they had quoted us!!! After several conversations with Lisa and some man that she handed the phone off to after she realized she was actually at fault we were basically told we were lying about the workers and we had signed a contract so they could charge whatever they wanted. His exact words were, " I am going to choose to believe my employees over you." Well look at the reviews you idiot bc all of your 1 star reviews are claiming the exact same bait and switch move by Lisa!They admitted that they had given us a partial quote?!?! And refused to take responsibility for the error. He also told us he didnt believe that there was a problem with the other 2 movers and that the lead mover never spoke to the others about slacking off... that we had made it up. To top it off he let us know that they had not finished moving our house and that there was still stuff there that they couldnt fit on the van! He didnt even address the supplies cost. I mean how could he defend it?! Never has this happened to us in multiple cross country moves but at this point we had already left the home bc we had to get on the road bc they were so far beyond the time period they had told us. I know they were just aware that we were already complaining to the office and decided not to finish the move. Finally we were informed that they would be keeping our possessions until we paid their bill!! Thats when I got online and found these reviews and more at members only sites like merchant circle and angie's list. I have a business and I am aware of these new online reputation management services and I completely appalled by this deceit! Learn to run a business with integrity and honesty and you won't have to pay for fake reviews you thieves! I'll be sending out this review as an all client email blast to over 500 San Antonians that know and have worked with me personally and I assure you that we will spread the word about this company. If you have had a problem I encourage you to file a complaint with the state attorney general alleging deceptive trade practices as they will simple bury your bad reviews or Lisa will allege that you are a competitor trying to sully their good name. DO a little more research and you'll see what I am talking about! There is a lot of reviews out there identical to mine and she claims they are fake. She will be mentioned by name in my letter to the state.

Here's the thing with these guys... I have used them 4 times. The 1st 3 times they kicked butt! They really had it together and I felt they were completely fair, very professional, efficient, and had great customer service. None of the times did they show up late or short handed.The last time I hired them which was about 4 months ago (after talking them up to my husband) they kinda put me to shame because the guys just seemed lazy and they didn't do a good job like the previous times. They were dragging their feet, texting, and just seemed to have an over-all bad attitude. They also weren't as careful with my furniture and did some damage.Maybe I got a bad crew that day. But after going to use another mover (#1 discount who was a living nightmare)... I can appreciate the first 3 moves with Monster Movers a lot. My advice to them is hire employees who make their company look good and who aren't lazy. I would never peg them as con artists though. It seems like a good company with a few bad apples.

I used Monster Movers last year and I had a great experience. They were on time, very professional, and they moved everything in a quick and efficient manner. The team was very nice and gentle while moving my fragile items, and they also set up all my furniture at my new place. Making the appointment was very easy, and the staff at the office is very friendly and accommodating. They are always willing to work with you to make your move smooth and easy. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that is moving into the San Antonio area. This is the second time that I used them and I was very impressed each time.

I've hired Monster Movers several times, and have never been disappointed :) They are punctual, efficient, hard-working, and nice guys to boot! They have always been respectful of my home(s) and take the utmost care with my personal effects and furnishings and what-not. The price/hour is very reasonable considering the 3-man team works FAST! Like, super speedy. I would highly recommend Roy, Ralph, Roger, Ramon, Terrell...any of them. Thanks guys :)
