King`s Men Mover

This mover is rated BBB by Angies List and I took their recommendation to have this mover, headed by Mr Ernest Pena, to do my move from San ANtonio, TX to ellenton, Florida. What a mistake! The initial quote was acceptable, and the move was to be done in 2 moves,. the first move went ok but Mr Pena could not find the house and put everything into the storage unit. He followed up by saying, don't worry, we will sort that out next part of the move. Then he was supposed to let me know when/if he went to Florida again  in order to take more stuff. He never called. The worst was yet to come. 2 days before the move, he told me he was too busy and had to give the move to another company, his neighbor's, and had to charge me $900 extra. Of course there was no time for me to source another mover. Then he lied again, and told me he didn't make any money on this and gave all to his neighbor, which the neighbor told me was not true. The move happened, and Pena hired unknown local movers to unload the truck. One was a disaster and damaged some items while I watched, damaged in the house and also on the truck while moving them. The labelling of the packed items was a joke: while Pena told us to keep our clothes in the dresser drawers, he proceeded to unpack the drawers without telling us, and packed the clothes into boxes, he later told me were marked : dresser drawers. Well I found the clothes weeks later in a box labeled "toys". Most other boxes were mislabelled. All my nice clothes were junked and thrown into these huge boxes packed by an "amazon" lady, while I am 5 ft 2 in myself. So unpacking them was almost impossible for me. The clothes were thown in there, no folding, just jumbled up. In one big box, the heavy clothes were thrown full weight on top of my wide brimmed hats, one being my treasured designer made wedding hat, which was totally smashed like the other hats under that weight. This guy is a smooth sweet-talker, seemingly honest, and his email addy is all about Jesus. Of course another awful person under the guise of religion. Do not ever trust this man. While he did not (so far as I know as of this writing) steal from us, like that last horror story of a mover in San Antonio Tx owner of Movin'On Ltd, he cannot be trusted at all. I have made Angies' List aware of my complaints and his cheating ways. Pena himself didn't care that I told him I would have to report his behavior to Angies' list. Avoid this man at all costs. He is another disaster and cannot handle big moves. he really did us dirty and he will do you dirty as well.
