Flat rate movers is most definitely who we will be using from here on out!They were extremely hardworking and quick! They were carful with all of my belongings and took extra precaution to not damage doorways and walls as well.We were very impressed with their work. They moved me from a 3rd story apartment across town to a 2 story home in under 3.5 hours AND set up all beds and put furniture is assigned rooms! This is a job that would have took us several days to do ourselves!Thank you guys so much!

I just want to say this is the best moving company I have ever used.  From the moment I scheduled to the time it was done, I felt I was in good hands.  The owner scheduled me and the crew chief called me to confirm a day before the move.  They showed up on time and finished super fast.  They definitely saved me money.  I highly recommended...

This is the 2nd time I used Flat Rate Movers.  The first time around, it was a breeze.  I found them on Groupon at a great rate.  Marco (the owner) came with another guy and they had me moved from one place to the other in under 2 hours with only minor issues.  I called them again this year, but with terrible results.  The two movers were late, rude, and unprofessional.  I caught them multiple times taking smoke breaks and milking the clock.  After they finally moved me to my new apartment, I noticed they broke my dresser!  I called to report my dissatisfaction with the move as well as my damaged furniture, and Marco tried to claim that my dresser broke because it was "water damaged."  He didn't even address the behavior of the movers.  I insisted that he come out and take a look himself.   Instead, he sent someone else to "assess" the damage (by the way this guy majorly inconvenienced me by cancelling his initial appointment 10 minutes before it was supposed to start after I had already rushed off from work to meet him.)  This guy looked at the dresser for like 30 seconds, lifted one end to "weigh" it, and left.  I just got a call to let me know they're going to reimburse me a whopping $30!  I wish I could say this was an isolated incident, but my roommate used the same guys on my suggestion and had similar results.  Avoid these guys if you value your money, time and sanity!

OMG you must call this company!So I moved last week, but I only just now got internet access at my new place and I just could not forget this company.  I needed movers to unload a 26 foot moving truck full of furniture and household items that was full to the brim.  Our move was especially stressful because my husband had surgery just 2 days before our planned move.  That took him completely out of commission and I was forced to do the moving with my teens and their friends alone.  It took forever to get the truck packed in the city we lived in so to unload I decided to hire some movers.  I called Flat Rate Movers because they came up on the search for the town I was moving to.  I called in a panic just a day and a half before my move asking if they could assist me.  I spoke to a woman named Mindy who was wonderful.  She was very nice assuring me that they could indeed help me even though it was short notice.  I was elated.  She explained that they had a job before mine, but would show up at around 2.  Well they didn't because the move went longer than expected...it happens and I understood but as time started ticking by I began to worry.  What if they didn't show up.  What if they flaked.  It was me and 4 teenagers and we were all exhausted.  It had taken us hours and hours just to load the truck.  I called Mindy who immediately contacted the movers who then contacted me and very soon after they arrived.  Three guys showed up.  I was happy to see them.  I was concerned that after such a long move they may be tired and might perhaps drag their feet in getting my move done.  I had contracted them for 2 hours, but figured I would probably need them for 3.  Well don't you know that in less than 1:15 mins they had already unloaded everything and set up the things I had requested!!!!  I couldn't believe how amazing these men were. They were fast and strong and you wouldn't have know that to look at them necessarily.  All I can say is wow what a great company!!!  Use these guys they are worth the money trust me!!!  I will be moving again within a year and I can tell you that it is a no brainer for me I will absolutely use flat rate movers!!!! :D
