I have not ever take the time to write a review...good or bad, but I felt this was one time that it was absolutely necessary.  Now that I've read the previous review, I am really happy to add a completely different experience.  Better yet, read the letter I sent to the operations manager to let him know how pleased I was with Ward and with all the employees involved with my move.Dear David,I wanted to send a quick email to thank you and your team who packed and moved me on November 30 - December 2.  If you recall, there was some initial confusion about packing my belongings and when it finally got ironed out, Ruth made sure I was expertly packed and well taken care of.  I'm so glad that I listened to her and hired you to move me on the 2nd.  Ruth is an exemplary employee...she worked so hard and was so professional and I felt that she really had my best interests in mind.  She is a strong supervisor also and I could see her ability to manage her team.  On move day, the team you sent was equally terrific.  Under Gary Lee's supervision, all four guys worked hard all day long, always with a smile on their face.  I know it took a lot longer to finish the move than originally planned and I thank you and all involved for sticking it out to the end.If you could pass this email along to Braxton (he came out to the house but I seemed to have misplaced his business card) and to the owner of the company, I would appreciate it.  As far as I'm concerned, you and Ruth and Gary Lee and Braxton and all involved in my move are the best and your company is lucky to have you all!Regards,JS

We moved from Houston to Charlotte and we were very impressed with Ward North American.  To start, they provided us with the most competitive quote and provided us with more information than the other companies.  They were also very responsive to my calls and emails.  The move dates they provided us were reasonable and they were on time with pickup and delivery.  We packed most of the house, but they packed the kitchen/breakables for us.  Nothing arrived broken, not even one wine glass.  They were quick and professional and I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I can't come up with a single positive thing to say about my recent move experience with Ward North American.  I have made numerous moves in my life land this was by far the absolute worst.  I try to be a positive person, but I honestly can't come up with a positive thing to say about my experience with this company.  As if the experience wasn't poor enough with lost boxes, damaged items and a consistently late driver, they completely blew off the scheduled pick up of my packing material without even the courtesy of calling to tell me they wouldn't make it.  I hope my experience was an outlier, but buyer beware when considering these guys for a move.  My Company paid to move me so I really didn't have a choice in the matter.

Worst moving experience ever! It has been 6 months and Ward refuses to acknowledge the lost and broken items. I read the other reviews and am baffled as to why we had such a horrible experience from the packing to the move in?! Ward refused to accept responsibility and was extremely rude to us. Do not chose Ward!

Great experience on the packing/moving out end.  Two really friendly movers who took care of my stuff and were very careful and diligent.  Having moved 11+ times in the past ten years, these were some of the nicer more careful movers I've ever had.  While I've definitely had faster movers, I'd much rather have my things handled nicely and have a careful move than a rush job!
