I had to move out of state and there are not a lot of companies out there that help you with small to medium sized moves. With most moving companies, you either have to move a lot of stuff or move nothing at all as it turns out to be super expensive. ShipSmart made my move very easy and it was performed professionally. I was not able to easily track my move at my convenience but I was able to call and get updates as needed. Definitely recommend!

Congrats, Ship Smart - you have the dubious honor of receiving my first ever 1 star review.I needed to ship a wooden chest from my apartment in Houston to my sister in Manhattan Beach, California.  I chose Ship Smart based on the good Yelp reviews... big mistake.The pickup of the chest from my apartment was on time and professional... and that was about the only thing that went right.  They told me that once the chest had been shipped to California, they would call my sister to arrange and schedule the delivery.  Well, first of all, the delivery date was a week later than we were told.  Second of all, they never even bothered to call my sister to schedule the delivery so she could make the necessary arrangements.  They just randomly showed up at her door one day with a huge shipping pallet... it was lucky she was at home and had friends over who could help her move it in.The KICKER is that they left the shipping pallet on her driveway... like, why would you make a delivery and then NOT take your own shipping crate back with you?  When we called to complain, we were told it would cost another $275 to pickup the crate.  A month later, the shipping pallet is STILL sitting in her driveway and being a major hassle.OVERALL: 1/5.  Will never use their services again nor recommend them to anyone else.  Awful and frustrating experience.

Moving is a pain, but Ship Smart made it easy!  I had a small cross country move, and it was difficult to find movers who would do this type of move, so I was happy when a larger moving company recommended Ship Smart to me.  They were professional, with a quick response time throughout the entire experience.  A real standout was an employee named Carly, who answered my questions quickly and thoroughly.  The packing was amazing, I could not even get into the delivered shipment without assistance- it was packed that well and secure! Another thing of note was their flexibility in pickup and delivery times, which I appreciated.  I would definitely recommend Ship Smart for a move!
