I would rank this business "F".  I contracted R&A to move 3 dining captain chairs, a mirror and a rug.  They charged me $200 for 1.5 hours of work.

Here is the "F" part. A dining room table needed to be moved 6 feet to access the rug.  The movers told me that they would have to charge me extra to move the table.  We were shocked.  So my girlfriend who is 75 and myself (63 with a partially paralyzed leg) moved the table ourselves.  It took us a total of 15 seconds to move. To move the 4 side chairs took me another 30 seconds.

I was mortified.  I am a Hurricane Harvey flood victim who lost everything.  My friend was donating these items to help me restart. I am so embarrassed that I imposed on her to move her table when she was being so generous was humiliating!!

Of all the contractors I have engaged in my rebuilding I have not had anyone penny-pinch like these people.  Definitely not a customer focused business to let two women do their work for them.

We used this moving service to move from one apartment to another apartment.  They arrived on time they worked very quickly and got the move done a lot quicker than most other moving companies would have.  Raul and his movers were very courteous and professional and experienced. The price was less than expected and less than what most other movers would charge.

We used R&A when we moved furniture from our house to storage when it sold. Raul and his crew were fast, professional and thorough. They took great care in shrink wrapping items and carefully padded things as they packed the van. They had professional gear, dolls, blankets, straps. Because we were going into a storage unit, they disassembled things so they would store compactly. We were so impressed, we used Raul and the crew 3 month later to move us in our new home. They were as careful and caring moving in as moving out. In spite of the two moves nothing was marred or damaged. We would recommend R&A to anyone wanting a quick and trouble free move

R & A Movers are the very BEST movers you could ever use! Not only are they prompt, friendly, and reasonable - it's as if your furniture and treasures are moved by caring, close family members! They recently moved me from Galveston to Texas City, and I was astonished by the top-quality job they accomplished for me. R & A arrived on time, worked quickly and thoroughly, and carefully protected all of my belongings as if if they were treasures. They accomplished the move much faster than I thought possible. They even helped me place the furniture in the new house - where it offered the most functionality. I haven't moved a single thing they placed for me.
