Paragon Auto Transport

I used Paragon transport to ship my vehicle from Galveston TX to NYC. After being almost scammed by one of the companies at transportreviews.com, I found out about this company from a friend. Needless to say, after my recent experience, I was extremely nervous and cautious. However, Tony was very polite, professional, efficient and always easy to contact (both visa phone and email). The whole process was smooth and swift (mostly online). The move included the full insurance, which was nice. My total cost was around $850 which was excellent for this long a move and within my budget. The movers came within the time frame given, and the vehicle reached NY in about 7 total days. It was delayed in NJ for a day or two due to heavy rain which was understandable. The car was delivered at my doorstep, in excellent condition without any damage even though it was an open trailer.  Some dust etc was to be expected but otherwise the car was in good condition. During the whole process, while the car was being shipped, Tony was in constant contact via email (sometimes even responding within 10 minutes). He also e-mailed a courtesy mail when charging my credit card. Overall, this was an excellent experience. I highly recommend this company and will be sure to use it in the future.

Had a few hiccups, but since I have used Tony a few times to move cars I am not going to give a bad review for one mess up.    The first carrier didn't show up and never called Tony or myself to let us know he wasn't going to pickup on that day.  We finally heard back from Tony and he set up another carrier two days later. Those people showed up in a truck and a trailer for what we needed, but the two drivers didn't speak a lick of English so I couldn't tell them what not to do with the vehicle or tell them how to do some things.  All they could say was Can't speak English and Yep.  At that time while they were driving off with my vehicle I noticed they gave me the wrong routing address and my vehicle was headed to Las Vega and not CA.  I had to flag them down and get them to change it some how. I let Tony know my frustration, but he told me most drivers now don't speak English. I felt a bit let down by that statement. I did decide to use a different carrier back with my car and they took about 3 weeks to pick my vehicle up to bring it back to me, but they spoke clear English. I may give Tony another chance, but I'm giving him a good review as I have used him for a long time. This was just first time I had a not so good experience with Paragon and I think I've used Tony about 4 to 6 times hauling cars I've bought and sold.

Do not do business with them. Tony is a great guy but does not understand the actual facts of a situation. I cancelled with him prior to getting any type of confirmation with his driver or him and he did not provide me with an ETA or call. I have all dialog and contact between him and I. I found a company with a better price and shipping method and he tries to charge me a $250 cancellation fee. He states that a driver was dispatched but how come my deposit I authorized to charge was not actually charge if it was? (common practice by all shipping companies) He actually tried charging my card after I had cancelled with him. EDIT: I understand Paragon's reply and change my review to 3 stars. They did provide excellent service, prompt contact, and always able to get a hold of. I don't doubt their quality of shipping vehicle's either. However, their business conduct is not like their customer service. Though they stated there was a carrier assigned, there was never factual indication that one was which led to the belief that I was able to cancel without a cancellation fee. 1. No call from carrier to myself or the pick up contact2. No charge of a deposit when carrier was assigned (common practice for all transport companies)

I used paragon transport to have my car shipped from Galveston TX to LA California. The whole process was very easy. Tony Alexander always answered the phone and spoke to me directly thought the process. The price was a little higher than other quoted, but did not change. It includes full insurance so I think it is well worth it. They picked and delivered to doorstep. I would recommend this service. They took 2 days to deliver my car, and were very professional throughout the process

I had my son's car transported from CA to Houston. It was done in a timely manner. The transport came in a few days and parked as close to my house as possible (hard to find double wide streets where I live).  I would definitely use Parragon again and Tony was awesome!
