Called Anthony (owner) to ask about a local piano purchase in California. He spent 45 minutes discussing Yamahas and Kawai pianos with me, and gave me plenty of buying tips speciic to these brands. He never once tried to talk me out of making the purchase, not did he try to sell me his own piano, but actually told me the purchase I was planning to make was a good deal. I would feel very good about purchasing a piano from someone who demonstrates this kind of integrity and knowledge base. Thanks so much Anthony!

STAY AWAY! Irresponsible and unprofessional.  Too many other good businesses to choose from. KeyArts was the third party hired for my insurance claim to order and replace the "lyres" for my Yamaha grand piano lost in a move. Almost a year ago, the ins co said it would take about 3 months to get the parts. No problem. I spoke to Anthony, the owner, several months ago. He said he was waiting on the parts. I never heard from him. I left a msg in June. No call back. Today,  I called and he said he wasn't going to be able to do it because his technician had left eight months ago so they couldn't fill the order. He said he sent me an email a couple of months ago to tell me to go to another company. First of all, he should've called the insurance company  as soon as he knew he could not take care of this order. I asked him why did he tell me he had placed the order and was waiting for it. He answered "well I couldn't do it because the technician was gone..." and so on, basically not answering the question. He's either a liar, incompetent, mentally challenged or a combination of all three. I could not find the supposed email. He said he would try to find it and resend. Don't know how he ever did as he never had my email. I'm sure I won't be receiving that email. And again, he should have contacted the agency who hired him not me. Very tired of incompetent businesses who try to blame others for their problems. If he would have been honest and reached out to the ins co to let them know, that would have been better. His only option to me was to call another place. No apology; no nothing. No business skills apparently. End of rant. I obviously will never deal with them and I highly would never recommend Key Arts to anyone.

I contacted Anthony to have my piano tuned during my teaching break. He called on the day of the appointment and rescheduled due to an emergency which I can understand but then today he was an hour and 15 minutes late so I called him and he said he couldn't get free because he was working on a piano. ??? I got the general impression that my business was not important to him. As a piano teacher, appointments are everything. When my students need pianos or piano work I don't think I will be sending them here.
