STAY AWAY!!!!They lie, they cheat, they are not reliable.I used them for a move from Houston to Denver. They lied about not using contract movers, they lied about how they would charge initially and they lied about what time they would arrive.5-6 hours later than we were told they were anticipated to arrive the CONTRACT movers informed us that they were at another job and were only called 45 minutes before arriving to our place. Although the movers did pack quickly they did bump and scratch our front door. Were also told by our Jet Van Lines rep that he would charge the card on file that we had given them but when the movers were finished packing they requested half the payment be made in cash. They even suggested that they follow us to an ATM to get the cash. We never did receive an OFFICIAL cash receipt like they promised they would email to us. LUCKILY in the end we received our furniture in one piece in Denver but to cap it all off, the furniture was suppose to be stored in a storage center for a month but we received a call 3 days later after the move asking us where we wanted our furniture shipped. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? This company is totally incompetent and a bunch of crooks. PLEASE STAY AWAY and make sure you do your research as well. I should have checked the BB rating on them cause it's not ideal.

To begin with, I've had several opportunities to experience a move with and without professional movers so I will agree to the fact that hiring movers saves a lot of stress and strife not to mention back pain. However, you are paying these movers (a lot!) so I would expect that it should be done professionally, as in better than what we could muster ourselves. This was not the case with Jet Van Lines. I've never been so disappointed with customer service from any company as I was with these guys. First of all, they were one of the most expensive quotes to begin with and had relatively decent reviews so we went with them over a number of other moving companies. Big mistake. Everything during the sales process went great, leading us to believe that the move was going to go smoothly. When moving day came, they were instructed to come to the house and pack everything that was in the garage on the right side. I was there to supervise and clearly pointed out the dividing line between our stuff and our roommate's, which was not to be moved. About 20 minutes into the move as we are signing paperwork, the head mover has to call about a question on the cost of the move. He gets off the phone and says, "I'm sorry, we have to go. Sorry." They dropped everything, mid-move, and without explanation got into their van and left. Confused and furious, we called the corporate offices for an explanation and still received none. About 4 hours of phone calls later, the movers returned, still not explaining what happened just apologizing. They proceeded to begin the move, 4 hours late, and because of this had to work late into the night. We came to find out later that they also packed several things from the roommate's side, but forgot two huge boxes from our side. When they arrived, 2 days earlier than we had scheduled, they were impossible to work with to get them to come on the correct day (when we would actually be there). The sales people who were so helpful initially were unreachable, even to this day. When my fiance was able to finally meet the movers to supervise moving the things in, they dropped everything off and as he was going through and checking inventory and condition of the items, they had skipped out and taken off in the van. They put a huge scratch in a brand new couch upon delivery, did not unpack any items as was described in the full-move package, and I am still missing one box full of my entire DVD collection (not to mention we are having to have those 2 boxes they forgot to pack shipped to us separately). Did I mention we cannot get a hold of them in order to fix this situation? Seems their name Jet van line accurately describes what they do when they screw up a move. Overall HORRIBLE service.
