I have used them twice. The very 1st time was AWESOME. The owner Alexander came with another guy who was new to the team. They moved my entire apartment from my storage unit to my new apartment which was on the 3rd floor I might add in an hour & 30 minutes. He even put my bed together, hung the mirror that attaches to the back of my dresser and connected my washing machine in that time frame. I was impressed! The 2nd time however, Alexander sent a crew. This was the sorriest set of male mover I had ever seen. It took them 3 hours to move about 8 pieces. I felt that they were deliberately moving slow, more time equals more money. I get that. They took frequent breaksn granted they are moving me from a 3rd floor apartment. I just felt the excessive side bar conversations they would have at the truck could have been avoided. Walk & talk its easy.... This time around they didn't connect the washer & dryer didnt put my bed together and didnt hang the mirror.I felt they were driving slow to equate more time. Once we hit the 3 hour mark I politely let them know their job was done.I will use them again because if the wonderful work that Alexander did for me. I will just be aure to request that he comes out specifically.

Do not use this company I called to set an appointment spoke with mr. Alexander he set a price for me the gentleman called me two hours late overheard them on the phone stating that they were going to charge me more than I was quoted we're very ghetto and are gangsters do not use this company if you have valuables they will steal from you and break your furniture do not I repeat do not use Genesis movers they are thieves and gangsters

The 3 guys were very nice but I noticed my bedroom rail was cracked when I told my mother she said she used the same company and they broke a table of hers and her TV they were very nice but I would like someone who takes the time to stack things properly my stuff was sent to a storage

We were elated with the prospect of paying $55 per hour for two mover men since we lived in a second story apartment. But the whole experience was horrible:1.) I called a week ahead to make an appointment for my moving date and when I called the day before to confirm "Alexander" (same gentleman I spoke with last time) he did not even know about our appointment. He said he wrote it down in "another book" and took my information again so that "I was now in both books". 2.) On moving day two men showed up an hour late with fast food cups and were no dress professionally at all.3.) Both men took breaks after they moved something down the stairs and before they took something down. 4.) They constantly were asking to use the restroom and have water (I would not have minded one or two water breaks in two hours but it was bordering on ridiculous).5.) They dragged my mattress outside and got it dirty. 6.) They dented and scratched my washer and dryer.7.) They banged our furniture against walls and scratched almost every piece of furniture. 8.) One of the workers kept telling me it was hot, that he normally laid carpet, and then took another break and sat in his car with the A/C running. And to add insult to injury he asked me to sit in his car with him which was very uncomfortable. 9.) They worked so slowly that they only moved a fraction f my two bedroom apartment after 2 hours so my wife and I had to move the rest ourselves. 10.) The men argued with my wife who was telling them what she wanted them to move and they said "no, I'm going to take this". 11.) After they left we called "Alexander" back and he said he would send more men but we told him that we did not like the service the men provided. He said he would call us back about the whole upset but never did.12.) They also charged us a $30 trip fee and their office was only 20 minutes from our place.DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE!
