These guys are honest and reliable. My husband used them and we referred them to 2 other friends who are happy with their service, how carefully they wrap the furniture and that their rates are reasonable!!

I needed to get a couch up to a second floor through a balcony. Most places refused to do it, others quoted me over $500. Jose was able to get it done for a decent price. I thought it would take several weeks to get a appt set up but he was able to do it the next day. Jose is a nice person as well. He explained what he was going to do better than the ashley furniture store people who wouldnt even talk to me. The couch did sustain a tear on the bottom and he did not give a discount for the damage. So minus one star for that.

Do yourself a favor and pay a little extra for one of the name brand movers in Houston.When we initially reserved the movers (two weeks ahead of our move) we were sure to get the earliest appointment possible. This means we confirmed that it wasn't possible for the movers to arrive before the scheduled 9am start time. The early start was important to us because we were moving into an apartment on the 6th floor and had the service elevator reserved for  2.5 hour window.Sure enough, 9 o'clock the day of the move rolls around and we haven't heard from the movers. 9:45 we called the office, no one picked up so we left a message. 10:15, we call and leave another message. At 11am, we are starting to think that we will miss our window with the service elevator. Finally, we hear from the manager and he told us that his guys got held up on an earlier move. Even though we specifically asked for the earliest spot of the day...They finally show up and I explain the rush that we are in. Instead of receiving an apology for being late, we're met with a cavalier attitude from the movers and no effort to speed the move along. Talking on your cell phone for 20 minutes and only carrying things with one hand... Really? Well, we finally made it to our new apartment and only had the service elevator for 20 minutes. I even had to help unload things off the truck and in the elevator to insure we got the heavy items loaded. Again, no thanks from the movers for helping.If you want movers that lie about appointment times, are impossible to get ahold of the day of your move, will show up over two hours late, not apologize, and give you minimal effort, then Ashley is your moving company!

After hiring these guys two years ago (even after they were late arriving at my apartment) I decided to give these guys a call back (literally just a few minutes ago) and the guy that answered simply said "Hello" so me not knowing if I have the right number after having it in my phone for years asked "Who is this?" His reply was "Who is this? Your the one calling me?" So now I'm thinking to myself "Wow, this conversation just took a turn for the worse" All the guy had to do when he answered the phone was saying "Hello, this is Ashley Moving and Delivery. How can we help you?" But instead he decide to cop an attitude because I simply asked who is this not knowing if I had the right number. I then proceed to explain to him why I asked who is this and he still didn't seem to get it. I told him I hired him 2 years ago but that's not happening today and we mind as well end the conversation now and hung up. SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND FRUSTRATION AND DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS. They recently deactivated there google reviews because people were putting them on blast for there lack of timelines and professionalism. They operate by large part from Thumbtack which if you don't know they are able to filter there own reviews and only post the best ones. This gives unexpected potential clients a false representation of how they really do business.
