Moved from Houston, TX to Sand Springs, OKThis was our third move with Allied.  The first two moves turned out great, and that was why we chose to use Allied again.  This experience turned out to be totally different.  The movers were several hours late and forgot to get the glass table crating team over to our house that we had paid extra to have there.  They did not individually wrap up our items inside the boxes, which resulted in several items getting scratched or broken.We ended up filing a claim for eight items that were lost or damaged.  One of the items that was damaged was $1800 road bicycle that we listed on the special care/valuable items list.  They just threw this item in with another bicycle and there were deep scratches in several areas on the bicycle, indicated they did not even put a blanket around it.  They refused to reimburse the lost items because they said the was not evidence of tampering with the boxes.  MAKE SURE TO PACK YOUR OWN BOXES IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE THIS COMPANY.  The claim specialist had an attitude every time you communicated with her.  The inspector that came to our house to inspect damages did not have all the items listed on his form (most likely an effort to reduce the claim size).We are very disappointed with Allied and especially with Berger Houston.  I would recommend using another mover, even if they are more expensive.
