Worse moving experience ever.  When they came to pick up my furniture, they had overloaded the truck, so they strapped my bicycle to the back of the truck.  I had to pay for storage as I didn't have an address yet.  I was late a few times , yet they never charged me a late charge when they billed me....until when I was to have the furniture delivered, then my "fixed estimate" jumped up to almost double of what was on the invoice. I had always heard of this happening, but it had never happened before...Now, I know...The delivery - what a joke!  First I was told they would be there Friday, then Saturday, then Sunday morning.  The driver showed up at noon Sunday with absolutely no other help.  He unloaded the truck by himself, dropped my kitchen table and broke a piece off.  When it came time for my couch (which I told him he wouldn't be able to do it himself...surprise! I was right.  Thankfully another delivery driver came to my house and I asked him if he would help unload the couch and he did. Otherwise, it would probably still be on the truck. There was a shattered picture and the driver told me it was broken when they put it on the truck, and when he said something, they said...take it anyway.Don't hire these people, especially for a long distance move.

First off if you ever do a cross-country move make sure that you wrap every piece of large furniture with plastic wrap. Go to your local U-Haul store and they will get you squared away. If you don't you will be charged extra to wrap the furniture. You'll also be charged extra for stairs and any long hauls.The movers were dressed unsightly, but they were fast. They completely disassembled my desk into 2 pieces, and didn't wrap it properly so it was ruined. They also stole, or misplaced, a pair of Nike sneakers. They told me they will be delivering my items the day of they were out there. I left my phone at home, and I didn't find out until I arrived home. Thus, I had to reschedule. A few things were chipped, and that was to be expected. However, when I tried to make a claim against my desk their 3rd party company denied me. If you need a cheap move, have cheap furniture and they come in with the lowest bid use them at your own risk. Otherwise, go elsewhere. You might even make out better just selling your furniture an starting from scratch.

I don't even know where to start, everything about this company is terrible. Once I put down my initial payment, communication pretty much ceased. I could not get into contact with them after they already had my stuff to get any details of when they would be able to move it to my new house. They were terribly unprofessional, rude and literally screened and ignored my calls so much I had to call them from a different phone to get them to pick up. Shifty? Very much so.On top of that mess, when my stuff finally did arrive, all of the more expensive things they packed were broken. My washing machine had clearly been stepped on and crunched in, my new mattress had come unwrapped (that they packed) and was badly soiled, one of my tables' legs had been smashed in on one side, ontop of items that were just flat out missing.Get any other moving company to do your move!

it's been two weeks since my cross country move, I am just now able to sit and write about the unbelievable experience I had with these people. First of all they were brokered to me so I was under the impression that they would be a reputable moving company because the broker (APT Movers), were rated no 1 and had great reviews.The movers initially, upon picking up my belongings were so nice, truly genuine. The loaders would say what's in that box? I would answer and he would write. However, when the drop off person came with my belongings, NIGHTMARE! He called my contact person, brother , not me, and told him,"Tell her she needs cash to get her belongings, and there is a problem? Problem? I had prepaid this move except for the balance, that had to be discounted because of weight. Driver tells brother, tell her (WE), will be there between 5-8 p.m. He showed up single at 9:00 parked on the curb two buildings down and said I can't get my truck into your parking area! Management of this apartment complex said that really long rigs pull through this area every week.Driver calls me at 9:00 that evening says come down here, second floor, I can't pull in to your space and you need to give me 500.00 right now in cash, or I can drop your things on the street! What? Then he tells me go hire 2 men from the apartments to help you, (YOU) move your things up to your apartment! I do not know one person here at the time and I am much to private a person to stoop so low. Then I am told if you don't want to pay me now I will have to leave! He is by himself! He never intended to unload my furniture! I asked where is your help? I don't need help, I was told.Driver said he needed to unload the furniture onto a smaller truck and I owe him 500.00 Postal Money order only or cash! I asked could I get the money in the morning he said he needed it now??? Post office closed! Only would except Postal Money Order.Next day, I call R and L and asked who to make the Postal Money Order out to and was told R and L, the driver said make it to me? I am so confused thinking what is going on? Finally next morning I go to the Post Office get his money order and returnHe has the manifest, has hired two men from a local pick a pack convenience store to move my personal belongings! Finally when I pay him and he starts to his truck, I tell him those are my packing blankets, I wrapped all my pieces of large furniture, he says no they are ours,my name is written in large letters on the blankets,  we argue and he loads up and leaves and sends me a text, SEE YOU!So then, I am unpacking after being shafted out of $500.00 and find a really large amount of my personal belongings had not been delivered! When I asked if I could check off the items with him, I was told ,I got it and it's all here! I am back at the apartment with two strange men, he is at the street two buildings down, dragging my stuff out of the truck.... I had no chance to check my stuff? Remember the initial loader asking what is in that box? He recorded approx 20 lines as cord, what's cord? I don't know mover code? And my two Cloud Luxe Tempurpedics were half unwrapped and laying in the street ! And one now has a small hole in it. There goes the 20 yr warranty! Oh did not mention, the smaller truck never made it, the two men from the convenience store had to drag, pull and walk all of my furniture from the street two building down!  I am not sure the smaller truck was ever really a possibility ? If you want to be in total nutsville, use these people! Long distance move nightmare!!!
