If I could give 0 stars I would! On 5/28/2017 we had this moving company move us from our home to an apt. When the workers showed up they had no tools. They claimed the 3rd worker had them. We had to unpack boxes to look for tools and then go to the store to buy tools for them totaling $10.79. I called Kristie and Kacie both to ask them about this but neither call was returned. We sent a picture via text of receipt for tools to Kristie on Monday May 29th. Workers blamed boss for not being prepared. They said it was a "last minute move" and that they were not even told it was a 3rd floor apt move. Neither of these statements are true. Side note - One worker even used our restroom in our home and did not flush the toilet. When moving from our current (sold) home, they damaged the paint and drywall. Picture sent to Kristie on Monday, May 28th. After they loaded the truck, they said they were going to get food. We waited on them for at least an hour to return to the apt. During the move, the below items were damaged.love seat ripped (245 pounds)king bed scratched/damaged (490 pounds)Sleep Number Mattress rippedMirror for dresser damaged (42 pounds)Nightstand damaged (70 pounds)glider/rocker damaged (56 pounds)mattress pad damaged with blood stain wall in apt scratched in two placesCommunication from me is as follows - May 28 - email, call, text to both with picturesMay 29 - text to KristieMay 30 - call and email to bothMay 31 - email to bothOn Sunday May 28th at 6:41 pm the owner Kristie accidentally sent me a text that was meant for the movers stating "So since he went to the third floor the customer deserve the damages and that's the reason why you did them". When I replied with a question she said, "Sorry that was meant for the guys I was very upset at them."I have not heard a word from either owner since May 29th at 12:39 pm despite numerous attempts to contact them.According to the insurance at $.60 a pound, they owe us $541.89 plus $10.79 for the tools purchased. This does not include the very expensive i7 King sleep number mattress that was ripped valued at $4,199 and the mattress cover valued at $17.99 from target. We would also need compensated for that.Do not use them!Added info 7/7/17Absolutely terrible experience continues. Almost everything we owned was damaged and less than half of the insured items were reimbursed at 60 cents a pound. This company STILL owes us 834 dollars for further damage and refuse to answer any more BBB communications. On top of the above damage, walls were also damaged in both the previous and new home. Arbitration is our next step. Highly upset that I have to waste my time fighting for them to right an obvious wrong. Do not use them. You will likely regret it.

Don't know where to begin as I've had a horrible experience with Kristie, Kasey and the TMS team. They show up two hours late, don't tag the items being packed, handle the product with reckless abandonment and that's just picking the product up!Delivery - scratches on brand new hardwoods and they say 'we didn't do that.' (37 scratches to be accurate) Several pieces of furniture damaged and they put them where they felt comfortable leaving the items. They were fast to unload they materials without leaving a tag sheet or a material list. I've had to take them to court and put a lien on their business due to the amount of damage caused by TMS. The offered $.60 per pound wasn't viable as they never weight on a loaded/unloaded truck. This company told me they'd personally fix the doors, drywall damage, and paint. They never followed up and that's why I took them to court. The court ruled in my favor and they haven't paid the court ordered amount. Please do your homework and don't use this company. They are crooks who don't own up to their own mistakes

I don't even know where to begin . First of all if I could give them zero stars I would . I should of read there reviews first before picking them to move my us . We were moving from Stillwater, Oklahoma to Austin Texas . We picked The Moving Company out of several moving companies because it if family owned and Kacey was super nice . We have used movers before out of Enid, Oklahoma and they were awesome .We scheduled our pick up on a Friday . I was called two days before moving day letting me know they would be late and really needed to come on Saturday and would be there at 8 am. I wasn't happy but what can you do . I had to call all my utilities and ask them to cut off on Saturday evening . However they don't do that it has to be Monday . So on moving day (Saturday) they were late very late . I called the gentleman and got nothing but attitude . So I called Kacey and told her I wasn't happy about them being late and having an attitude . She never once said sorry or Im sorry I will take care of it . She just said I will call him . So they finally get to my house about 9:30 am . Delivery day a little late but not a big deal . I asked Daniel when he arrived to see the cost for the move and the pounds . He told me it was 15,000 pounds . Which I found hard to believe since I had no living room furniture and we moved before and had more stuff and we barely had 9,000 pounds that time but what do you do . I asked him so I don't get a discount for moving my date and for all the hassle it cost me . He said well we didn't charge you for the few extra pounds . Wow how generous . I just couldn't believe it . Most companies would of made it right , not this company . Anyways I put signs on all our rooms so they would know what box went where because I marked all my boxes . They were putting boxes where ever . Several boxes were upside down or left on there side . Two gentlemen were bring in my grandmothers china cabinet which is an antique I saw them bring it in and I thought to myself why is he holding it like that it's going to break the top and guess what it did . I was so upset !!! It can't be replaced . So the gentleman in charge (Daniel) which is one of the owners I asked him what will happen he said well it was already broke on one side and my guys said they told you when they picked it up on moving day . No sir they didn't and I know it wasn't broke !!!! He argued with me and was super rude . No one has contacted me yet , to apologize or to let me know what they are going to do about my china cabinet  . I would NEVER recommend this people !!!

The initial setup was surprisingly easy, almost too easy...they picked up my items on time although I was concerned they weren't tagging my items like I've had done with all other previous moves. I was ensured my stuff wouldn't be taken off the truck until it reached my new home so there was no need. With hesitation, and kind of with no real position to back out (my stuff was half loaded by the time I noticed), I let them proceed....now the mess starts when waiting for the delivery. I was promised a specific day and time for them to drop off my items. I scheduled everything around their promised date. The day prior to delivery a driver was supposed to call and confirm what time he'd be at my home, since no one had, I reached out...and needless to say I didn't get a response til midnight when they were supposed to show up at 8am (so 8 hours noticed) that they weren't going to make it. Then I was promised they would be there later that evening...no show, finally late Sunday afternoon they FINALLY show up (but not in the truck they loaded my stuff, a small trailer towed by what seemed to be a persona truck...my stuff was filthy!! I'm not sure where it was stored but it wasn't supposed to leave the 18 wheeler truck so items wouldn't be lost!!)....This has now wasted my entire weekend and required a ton of rescheduled items on my part. I went with this company because I was given promises of dates that other places weren't able to do. I was given a small refund for the delay, which was appreciated but I don't think letting a customer know they aren't going to show up at your house at midnight the night before was acceptable. Once everything was dropped off I noticed things were missing. Of course it had to be irreplaceable art and my college diploma!! Also quite conveniently my electric drill. I was given a check for $114 to cover almost a thousand dollars worth of items (on a low estimate), not including the memories of irreplaceable items. Even though I was able to get small concessions for the mishaps, it doesn't replace good honest service that I was trusting they had. Keep it in mind when making a choice of who to put your life possessions in the hands of.

TMS' negligence and misrepresentation resulted in extensive damage to our household goods. We just got your settlement in the mail. We were very surprised at the low dollar amount, given the damage caused by the negligent handling of our household goods. We had a specific arrangement made with TMS Associate, Kasey. She assured us that our household goods would not be placed in storage and would never leave the truck unless the wait time for delivery exceeded two weeks - which it did not. Instead, the bulk of our belongings came to us in a much smaller trailer, meaning it was moved. The remainder had to come in a small pick up from another destination. We explicitly expressed our desire that our belongings not be moved multiple times as that would increase the likelihood of damage occurring. TMS did not hold up their end of the contract. Now we have a priceless family heirloom damaged (Black Walnut Dining Table handed down through generations), we have a worthless $400 flat screen TV, a torn chair to be reupholstered to the tune of $450, and filthy mattresses that were loaded in brand new condition. I should also mention the print that had the glass broken and carefully removed in hopes we would not find out about it? TMS no doubt said that we signed the agreement that limits your liability to $.60 per pound, which is true, but I would point out that the damage caused by TMS was not normal breakage one can expect in a move of this kind, but was caused by negligent and careless handling. The damage amounts to approximately $1,100.
