First off, they stole my credit card information. Let me say that upfront so if you don't read the whole review, you know right away not to use them. I had them load 2 ubox pods from Uhaul. They were efficient but they loaded everything poorly. When I reviewed my stuff, half of my bins were crushed because they put heavier bins on top of lighter ones. I have some broken dishes, glasses etc. When moving my dresser they also broke part of the wood paneling off. But the biggest kicker was the credit card. Here's what happened. After they were done loading, try said I needed to pay an extra hour because they were there longer than 2 hours. I said fine. They could only take my credit card info over the phone. Once they took it, one of the two movers called the owner back and then magically I didn't have to pay for the extra hour anymore. I didn't think anything of it until a few days later charged started showing up on my card in the DFW area. I barely use the card I paid with. It was obvious they had written down the card information and then used it to but things. Do not use them. Just not worth the risk.

To say I was disappointed would be an understatement.  I hired just moving help from Pearls Moving through movinghelp.com and paid upfront.  When the moving help arrived, they told me that there would be additional charges for the move.  When I told them that my agreement clearly stated a price for 2 people for 2 hours and any time over that would be $35/hour they told me to call their office.  I spoke with Nancy in their office and she tired to be as helpful as possible.  She said she would contact the owner and get things straightened out.  While on the phone with her, one of the moving help called the owner, Kevin.  Kevin said I could pay the extra amount (and that any time over the 2 hours would be $50/hour and not $35) or they were leaving.  I told him they could leave.  I am still waiting on my refund........

Date of move 8-21-2013    I have moved several times in my life (18 times).  I have always had movers and by far this is the worst moving company.  I rented a 26 foot U-Haul, a dolly, and 24 furniture pads, which is the same truck I used 15 months ago to move.  I pre paid for 4 hours and 2 guys to move from Aubrey (Savannah) TX to Coppell.  When the guys arrived they started caring boxes out.  Myself and a friend of mine where also caring stuff out of the house.  I noticed that they were loading all the boxes first I explained to them that they need to add furniture and us boxes for fillers.  They informed me they knew what they were doing.  As we got towards the end they informed me they were out of room.  I said not possible I moved with the same truck and more stuff the last time I moved and I had already taken 3 pick up loads over to the new house myself.  I then looked in the truck and saw tons of room but because the loaded all the boxes first there was empty space above all the furniture. I then said why haven't you used the furniture pads?  Out of 24 they had used 8!  So I had to leave some items to go back and get on my own.  As we were leaving they informed me that there 4 hours was about up and did I want to buy additional time at $70 an hour.  I needed the help unloading so I said yes I'll buy another hour.  When we arrived at the new house, which was a 30 minute drive, one mover got out of his truck asking for the $70 cash before they would do anything.  So I went to the ATM.  I later paid for another hour.  So total paid $370.00 for 6 hours of labor (230.00 pre paid plus 140.00 cash)  As the men unloaded the truck, it was like my 8 year old unloading.  They carried a night stand in upside down so all the drawers fell out onto the concrete sidewalk.  Had loaded the chest of drawers upside down and the foot board was loaded upside down both with no furniture pads.  Once unloaded I noticed the bed master bed room suit was damaged (which is one year old), end table in living room and my son's bed iron bed that is over 70 years old was all scratched up.  I pointed most of this out to the 2 movers from Pearl who had nothing to say.  I called Pearl Movers when we left the old house and were driving to the new and left a message.  Never heard back from them, so I called the next day and spoke with Nancy.  Nancy told me that customer service was there number one priority and that the 2 guys I had were there best movers and had been with the company for a while.  She was very rude and defensive.  She asked me to text picture of the damages and ask if I signed the contract and insurance form, and I did.  I sent pictures the next morning and got a text back from Nancy that read "I have sent it to the owner and we will be getting rid of that crew.  We deeply apologize for the damage of your items.  They will no longer be working with Pearl Moving."  I have called and text and all Nancy can say is to file a claim for insurance (which is .60 a pound).  She explained I need to to have model numbers on everything I claim.  No model number on 70 year old Iron bed.  She said she didn't wanna talk about it.  I would be happy with just the refund of my $230 I pre paid but I have asked the owner to call me and it's now been over a week and have never heard from him.  I also truly believe they write most of there own reviews.  I HOPE NO ONE EVER USES THIS COMPANY AGAIN!
