I recently used Michael D. King & Co. based off a personal reference from a local designer and never again will I use them again - and sadly its only because of the Office Management team, the hard workers that moved my personal items should get a different rating system.Let's start from the beginning. When I first called to inquire about services needed, the lady (Mandy?) answering the phones and my questions was not only clueless as to finding answers, she was rude. She had to call me back because she didn't know how to answer my questions, she said she had to contact the owner. Sure - I'll wait ... After waiting a full day for an answer, we were able to proceed with the services I needed. I brushed off the uncouth behavior I received prior to a bad day - we all have them. The guys who were sent were beyond amazing! I had the pleasure of working with two gentlemen and they redeemed all negative thoughts I had of Michael D. King with their professionalism and efficiency. The pair of them were quiet and diligent while myself and my designer directed them one way and then another and then back to the original ideas. The services took only 2 hours which I expected to take 4. THANK YOU!Then came the billing, I was billed for the estimated hours vs. the hours the team was able to complete the project. So I called to inquire about the bill...This is the part that gets fun! The same lady who was clueless on how to schedule my services now was the "billing department". Talk about some good multitasking skills, except she has no skill in billing and NO SKILLS in Customer Service. After questioning items on my billed and going back and forth with why I was billed for hours that were not even worked she had the Audacity to get loud with me and ended the conversation calling me a LIAR!! Never in my 50 years have I ever dealt with rude customer service! I was flat out appalled and will never, ever again use Michael D. King - Thanks for ruining such a good service. If you get new front office management, let me know. I will continue to use other local businesses in the mean time!
