A Game Movers

I am posting this on my daughter's account, as I don't have my own YELP account (I'm 50+ years old & behind the times!!!!)  Anyway, I own a pick-up truck and my kids & and I usually do all our own moving within Highland Park/University Park. However, since our last move, we have purchased a sofa that can't be easily transported with this vehicle. The afternoon before I moved I did some research, and called on a few movers. I was shocked at the pricing that I was quoted to move this one item less than two miles to my new residence. Tim's ad immediately stood out, as it had a clear message that addressed all my concerns (no hidden fees, no trip charge, etc.)--PLUS, it was written using proper grammar, unlike most of the other ads I had come across.He actually answered his phone on the first call, and we discussed my needs, as well as his pricing and availability. His rates were so reasonable that I opted to have him take some additional items, which saved me several trips as well as complaints from my two sons about all the work I was forcing them to do for free!Although he had several jobs lined up the next day, Tim agreed to accommodate my time-frame by scheduling a move in the late evening. I was thrilled!!Tim and his associate, Shelbey, arrived on time, and got to work immediately, assessing the loads. They wrapped everything expertly, and delivered heavy items upstairs, navigating several sets of stairs. They unwrapped each item and NO DAMAGE!!!! They know what they're doing! Plus, they have all the equipment and have very nice moving vehicles.I LIVE IN THE PARK CITIES, AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE GUYS. THEY WORK HARD, ARE UBER-RESPECTFUL & POLITE, ALL FOR A MORE-THAN-FAIR PRICE.  MOMS & DADS, YOU COULD TRUST THEM TO MOVE YOUR SMU STUDENTS, AS WELL!!! DON'T HESITATE TO CALL TIM FOR ANY MOVING NEEDS!!!!!!!! Thank you again, Tim & Shelbey!!!!

My boyfriend and I hired movers through the uhaul moving service 2 weeks before we were scheduled to move , I hadn't heard anything from the company I chose so I called and confirmed everything on my own. I should have recognized the signs but this was our first move and well now, let's just say at least we know better. I sent 2 confirmation text through out the week and they responded confirming. The day of our move the time the movers were supposed to arrive, 10:00 am, came and went and went. My phone calls and texts went unanswered as well. At almost 2pm, 1:53 pm, to be exact I received a text message from the movers saying they had car trouble and wouldn't be able to make it. My boyfriend and I had already begun loading the truck we rented ourselves after receiving no response by 10:15 am. We aren't the fittest people you'd meet and our bodies weren't prepared to move an entire 9x15 storage unit, fully furnished 2 bedroom apt, and things from my mom's garage that I'd had stored and sadly we didn't arrive at our new apartment until 2am. We unloaded the TV and bed, locked up the truck and went to sleep. By 10am I was up calling movers because we knew our bodies couldn't unload the truck. I called about 25 companies that all told me they either had no one available to come out or they would charge $400-500 just to unload the truck into a first floor apt. I found A Game Movers at about 1pm, they didn't tell me they would call me back with an answer like almost everyone else had done, Tim told me he was on a job and had another job after he finished but could fit us in and would be here about 5pm and would text when he was on his way. At 4:37pm he text that he was on the way, at 5:00 he was calling to let me know he was pulling into our apts. It was 2 man crew, just Tim and Shelby, and they were courteous and came fully equipped! They immediately began working and had the job finished by 7pm! They would not allow us to move anything, telling us to relax they would take care of everything all we'd have to do is tell them where we wanted everything to go.They hadn't even eaten anything that day because they had been so busy. The price was reasonable and under $200. We would and already have recommended them. We plan to use A Game for all our moves, when you find a good company that works you have to stick with them! They mean business and know what they are doing!Thank you guys so much! You are awesome sauce!

After hours of lugging boxes back and forth, back and forth, I finally threw in the towel and called these guys... They showed up the same day, at last minutes notice with there own moving supplies and vehicle and literally did what took myself, my gf and my friend two days to do in less than 2 hours!!! They are unbelievable and I will never call anyone else for moving purposes EVER again! I highly recommend these guys!

I recently discovered this company and had these guys help me move and/or deliver large pieces of furniture on a couple different occasions.  Tim (owner) is very responsive and maintains good communications from the initial quote (very reasonable, flat rate, no random fees) all the way through the scheduled meet up.  Tim put me on his schedule on very short notice requests both times.  Both Tim and his employee Shelby were very professional and extremely polite the entire time.  They were punctual and had all the equipment (blankets, wrap, etc) needed.  I know they do larger moves too but it's hard to find someone so reliable for all my small/single item jobs.  Great experience and have been recommending them to my fam & friends.
