I was getting ready to call Mr. Smith for the third time and even though I never write reviews, I just had to add to the rave reviews! In 2011, I worked with Mr. Smith to help move my daughter and her husband from a third floor walk up. My daughter has a chronic illness which made the coordination and the move extra difficult. Mr. Smith and his crew were extremely compassionate, understanding, and professional, doing whatever was needed to streamline the process. They went above and beyond. Then in 2012, they moved our other daughter and some friends of ours. Again, not only was their price fair and competitive but they were very accommodating and made the moves go smoothly. Also, the packing they did was extremely thorough and excellent. Then they even put together beds, etc. at the new locations. Last but not least, their positive attitude, caring, and work ethic makes a stressful situation so much better. They were a joy to work with. We will continue to call them and recommend them.

I would give them a ton more stars if I could. I never write online reviews, and I know I should. These guys got me off my butt to do so. It's actually been a few years since we've moved last, but after all I hear from the people we have referred, who have then referred, I figure it's time to get these guys up to number 1 movers in the area because there is something to be said for a great hard working group of people. We have used Joe Smith and Sons for 2 moves. They meet with you pre-move, help you with boxes, let you know exactly how the move will go, show up on time and take great care of your stuff, no matter if its a box of junk you probably shouldn't be moving or a huge flat-screen TV. They are very nice and courteous during the move and extremely helpful. I have actually randomly seen them while driving down the street and stopped to say hello like good ol' friends.
