This was the worst experience ever! Was quoted 1400 to move all my things from my one bedroom apartment in NYC to LA. When they picked up my things, they then told me I had to pay an extra 400 dollars! I just had hand over the extra money because it was too late to do anything else. So initially, they told me I would receive my things on the west coast in a few days. It took a whole month! I called to get updates, they either didn't answer or just didn't know where my things were! I had to get nasty several times, and Farrah (the manager) was horrible with customer service - she basically made me feel like I was "bother" her.She never had an answer for me, I immediately thought this was some scam and my furniture and belongings were gone forever.Finally I get a random call from the truck driver Memorial Weekend saying my things will arrive later that day. Everything were there, BUT one of my glass mirrored tables has a crack in it. Tried calling them, but it's just too much stress to follow up and keep calling.DON'T USE THIS MOVING COMPANY!

BEWARE!!! DO NOT HIRE these crooks....I recently relocated to California from new jersey , I hired them because I was shopping around and was told the moving would be 1200$ - 1700$ we called global moving and spoke to Farah I told her in complete detail what I had exactly which was 13 boxes, a large fish tank and stand , 2 TVs , a king size bed frame  6 chairs and a marble dining room table and large 6 piece sectional she made all these promises and convinced us to choose them ...boy was we wrong ...first and foremost the movers were hoodlums ...soon as they grabbed all my belongings and had it in their possession Farah called me and pulled the old bait and switch ... The price went up from 1600 to 3700  I ask how the hell did it jump that high she said my sectionals are not standard which I don't kno wat that means because I told her in detail ...she said she didn't kno the fish tank had a stand which I did tell her and also who has a fish tank on the floor its common sense...she claims I had 37 boxes ...I only bought 13 from home depot ...supposedly I have a large TV stand which I don't kno from where because my TVs were mounted on the wall...any who we go back and forth for a month now I'm aggravated and ask to speak to a supervisor or owner cuz I felt like I was scammed which I was ...she tells me the supervisors and owner do not speak to customers ....ever ....a month later the truck shows up I called out of work only to find out all the stuff they brought were not mine at all they put somebody else's belongings with my contract... Three days later they come back at midnight ...I had to call out of work again ...they did not want to open the truck till I paid them the balance of like 900 I found out why after I paid them ...soon as they opened the door one of my TV takes a 6 foot drop to the ground I recorded it ....they move all my stuff upstairs and when we start unpacking I went to check on my other TV ...completely damaged ...I open up more things and behold I have more damaged things than good ...couch has a gash in it and the backs are ruined two dining chairs completely damaged ...aquarium lights damaged...fish tank stand damaged...bed frame damaged...I'm missing 10 or more boxes and Farah does not know where they are ...oh I almost forgot the whole time there was no communication at all I would call and no one would get back to me or answer at all and when I did get in contact with Farah she told the guy to give me a fake app number which she would never answer ...and now I save the best for last they charged me for a box full of garbage literally ...I was curious as to why that box had a very foul odor so I open it and its a big black bag of garbage full of maggots and bugs coming out...I text her and still no reply ...can u say LAWSUIT

i hope this review can help all the customers out there looking for a moving company that they can trust. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, they have no idea of what they are doing. Here is my story, I was looking for a moving company from new jersey to florida, i entered my information in the internet and this company contacted me several times, they were very nice on the phone, they made everything easy make the contract, everything was perfect, even the price was spectacular, so many discount, and the amount was cheaper than everyone else. We made the arrangement with more than a month, we did the deposit, and also my husband and i called the company several time to confirm the date of the moving. All the nightmare started the day before when i called to confirm my moving-date for the next day and the secretary said that my planned-day wasn't correct, when i even had a flight to catch. I was angry in the phone and i said that was impossible and i needed it for the date was planning. She said that was ok, and next day, they truck were supposed to be in my house between 7 am to 9 am. I had everything organized, i had even some friends that they were helping me because I'm 30 weeks pregnant, and they didn't want to leave alone in this process since my husband was already in Florida because of work. The company never called, i called them at 10 am asking for the truck and the same secretary told the driver were in his way. I called at 11am because the truck was not in my house, and she said the driver had an accident and they were waiting for the policy, and they were sending another truck with another driver for my moving, she said wait another hour and your new truck will be there, They never came, My husband called and got the driver phone #, and we called him, he said the same that he was in accident but also, that he couldn't come until 2pm because he had the driver license suspended when the policy got there, and they took the truck and they were waiting. Also he said he was the only driver available for that day, and it wasn't true that they were sending another person, He was waiting to get his truck back and do my job. I called the company very very upset , requesting to speak with the manager and the secretary every time was making excuse for her or for him, even though i said i could wait in hold,  " the manager " never got the phone and talk to me. I don't have to say that for sure I lost my flight, i had to stay in a friend house because all my stuff were packed, also i had an stressfull day, at 5pm the driver called me saying he won't be available to do the job until tomorrow, when the the secretary called 10 mins before saying he was in his way. I was tied of all the lies and also that they were playing with me and also with my money, i cancelled them and at that time, i started looking for another company. I'm already in Florida and all my stuffs are in New Jersey thanks to this unrespectful company.I hope this nightmare finish soon and i can prepare even my baby bedroom at time. I hope all of this can help you to please not make the same mistake i made, look for another company, don't trust them, because at the end you will end wasting your time and money.

Horrible. I was moving from Philly to LA and choosing Global was a mistake. Firstly they under quoted the job by about $1,500 more than what they quoted. Apparently this is a normal scam so you can probably expect something similar from most movers. They told me that they would move my items to California where they would be stored until I needed them. When I got to LA and found a place, I asked for them to be delivered, expecting 1-2 days delivery which Frank had promised. To my shock I found out that they had not shipped any of my belongings, it was all back in Jersey. Once they finally shipped my things which was a week later, they said it would be a 7-10 days. Well my things arrived three weeks later. They used a third party company to move my things and they made numerous stops along the way. At no point in time could they tell me where my things were. It was very stressful. Finally when the truck arrived, he would not unload anything until I paid the driver. I could not even see if my belongings were there, or if they were damaged. It also took the driver and Farah(Global Ops Manager who has no idea) an hour to work out who I should make the money order out to. I consider myself lucky that most of my things arrived with little damage. I think the driver was actually a good operator, he was just hired by some shoddy operators.
