When I first moved to Philly from the Midwest for my doctorate, I was worried about my grades, my degree, and living in a new city.  Once I began the process, I started to realize what a huge hassle it would beto transport all of my things back and forth each summer and winter break.  Bringing my things home or leaving them were not viable options for me.  I started reading about PODS, and while the ideareally worked great for me, the horror stories I read served as a great deterrent. I then started looking around for other companies, and that's when Ifound Flexbox.  Some of the reviews I read had me a little scared, but when I really did my homework, it was the most practical option.  The people on the phone were immensely helpful and explained to meeverything I'd need to get it taken care of.  While it's true that the permits are a little annoying (you need one in order to have a mobile storage unit sitting around), it just depends on where you live. Being in the city, calling around to get the permit was probably the most frustrating part.  But once I got it, everything went so smooth. I was able to throw everything into the unit, call them to pick it up, and catch my flight for Iowa in record time. I've used Flexbox for a couple of years now.  It's down to a very convenient science. I'll definitely be using Flexbox again.

Perfectly convenient option for those who don't have the option to move out and move in all in one go round. Having the ability to both move and store is wonderful. Flexbox offers very competitive pricing with a personal feel. It's nice to see a small business making it in the big city. Their system for loading and unloading the boxes is pretty cool to watch, and they are able to load/unload/maneuver the boxes in tight urban conditions. The box fits into one parking space, which is incredibly helpful, and they're a lot bigger than they appear to be. I was most impressed by the fact that everything that was packed inside the box stayed in place despite being transported back and forth. Just about everything came out as it went in. Overall, Flexbox is a great option for a city move.

All I have to say is that FlexBox is a GODSEND!  Everyone hates moving, but these guys made it one of the least stressful moves I ever had...They were on time, professional, efficient, and very cool!  I would definitely recommend this one stop shop for anyone who wants to get your things moved and stored with the least amount of hassle and stress...Thank You FlexBox!

I've used flexbox twice now for storage and moving within the city. Both times they were incredibly patient and willing to work around my needs. If you don't have a car, they are especially helpful and make moving so much easier. Price is very affordable and customer service is remarkable. Moving is generally a painful experience but flexbox makes it so much easier. Five stars from someone with high expectations.
