Wes was early, efficient, and got everything accomplished. Especially in a less than ideal situation. He came to our rescue on a holiday weekend when our truck broke down - at the last minute. Can't recommend him enough!!

Used them on 2 occasions.  They were recommended by the storage company where my belongings were in storage. The first time was to  move furniture out of a storage unit to my beach house . No problems except they quoted me one price and the price went up the day of the move and they were very slow. I dealt mostly with Wes and his helper on this  move, not Brian. Since I had an ok experience with Wes the  first time I thought  I would use them again. My belongings were being moved out of storage to my new house, which had been completely renovated.  I called Wes and he quoted me a price, he had already seen my storage unit, because he had moved furniture out of my unit to take to the my beach house,. Plus they are clients there so they know the size of the units. The day of the move the price changed again by hundreds of dollars. The move was a disaster. They took forever and scratched up my brand new floors , nixed my walls and scratched my railings. My brand new steps had gashes in them , they just dragged  the stuff to the basement. and across my floors. They also nixed up my  furniture and broke one of my tvs which was packed and in the box.  At  one point  Brian was trying to intimidate my autistic nephew  into helping them, he was there to help me, not them.  They left my treadmill not put together and left a piece of furniture that was for my basement upstairs because they did not have any tools to take the legs off or to put the treadmill together. What type of movers don't have tools. We had arranged for them to bring 2 mattress and box spring sets to my sisters in Delaware the same day. My brother in law has a bad back and the purpose of hiring movers was so that he did not have to lift anything . Well my brother in law helped Wes moved the mattresses while Brian sat in the truck. They were slow and used a little trailer instead of a truck so they had to make multiple trips.I was so irate  when I realized the extent of the damages the next day.  I waited to calm down before calling to inquire about their insurance to repair the damages. My home was total renovation so everything was brand new and I was beside myself . In the meantime,  I had to go to the storage place to make sure everything was out and see what I had to do to close my account and ran into Brian. I explained the damages and he said that's what happens when you move, your furniture was heavy.. He told me he could maybe sand my steps himself. I would not let him touch my steps,  he sucked as a mover let alone have him touch my house.  So it was very obvious from our conversation that they have no insurance for repairs.Morale of the story , while they might be slightly more  reasonable, spend the money and get insured , professional movers. If no, It will cost you more in repairs in the long run. It is costing me a lot of money to get the damage that they did to my home .. Their motto of no drama moving is the furthest from the truth.

A Move In Progress is owned by Wes DeBardelaben who was a lifesaver for us.  He and his ppartner Brian provided moving and packing services at a reasonable hourly rate, below that of most moving companies.  They know what they are doing and  they do it well.We had a move from Washington, DC that became a calamity, with the result that the professional movers left one 20 foot truck load  behind.  My wife and I drove the truck to Philadelphia, having no idea how we were going to get it unloaded nor had we any idea how to gt things we needed in our new apartment from the storage facility to the apartment.  Wes and Brian we met at the storage facility and they worked literally day and night to get the job done.  Wes moved some things on a Saturday night and helped us get the last loads in on Sunday.A move that was really botched by the normal "professionals," the known moving companies, was salvaged by A Move In Progress.  I cannot say enough about the value of their assistance.  The company is new.  Email is wesdb2@gmail.com.
