Very kind movers and they were extremely quick. They even plastic wrapped my bookcase, dresser, vanity, etc. because they really do care about moving everything in perfect condition. I would recommend them to anyone and they will be the only movers I use in the future.

Professional. Affordable. Amicable. Careful. Efficient. Punctual. All qualities that I look for in movers but can be a rare combination to find.  Sanho has them all and made moving easy in a city where it is usually anything but.  I got a flat rate for my 1bedroom/studio, and the job was done in about two to three hours.  A group of four guys showed up at my place on time, one to watch the truck and my stuff, while the others moved my stuff down a second floor walk up.  They took extra care to wrap my bed, glass table, and dresser so they would not get scratched, and all of my fragile plants survived the journey as well. Do yourself a favor and call these guys for your move.

I wish I could say I had the five-star experience that so many others had with Sanho Moving, but while they got the job done, I had several issues with their service and communication.I'll start with their strengths:Super fast loading and unloadingHad their own materials with which to ensure things were properly protected and secured while in the truckGreat priceAnd then the weaknesses:Language barrier. This was the biggest problem I had. There were three men and not one of them spoke adequate English. This may not seem like a big deal, but it turned out to be very frustrating under these conditions. Moving is so stressful as it is and this inability to communicate really added to my stress. I confirmed with them several times over email that my move was still going forward, but then the day before the move I got a call from them saying that their office had gotten a call from ME saying I was going to find other movers. "No NO!! I didn't call and say that! I am still expecting you guys to come tomorrow." He said okay, confirmed anew, and said they would like to come around 8:30 a.m. I said please come at 9 a.m. instead. On the morning of the move, while I was in the midst of that last mad dash to get things fully situated, I received a call at 8:15. The movers were outside. (I have as much beef with people who are super early as people who are super late.) The call went something like this:SM: Hello, move today?Me: Yes, I'm moving today. I'm expecting you guys at 9 a.m.SM: Uhhh, hold on...Me: Okay (holding...)SM: Hello?!Me: Yes?SM: Move today?!Me: YES. Moving today at 9 a.m.SM: Uhhh...9 a.m.? Move today?Me: Yes! What are you asking me? I'm expecting you guys at 9 a.m. It's only 8:15.SM: Hold on...Me: Okaaaaay....SM: Move today?!Me: (Goes completely insane, head explodes)I know this seems like a joke, and normally humor is my crutch for such moments, but unfortunately, at the time of this totally maddening phone call my humor was buried underneath a massive pile of boxes and a bloody stress pimple that was threatening to take over my face and my life. I just needed them to arrive at 9 a.m. as I'd requested, not 45 minutes early and calling me on the phone with a completely unspecified purpose and ineffective communication. After this initial incident of madness, the move itself went fine. I couldn't believe how quickly they got everything into the truck and out again at my new apartment. But then came the payment part. I had been quoted $350. I gave them $400 and they demanded to know why I was not paying them a tip. I said I had included a tip but I was getting the nasty vibe. Again, the lack of language symbiosis was a problem. I wasn't sure if they were confused or if I was confused. Finally they contacted their home office and confirmed that I was not stiffing them on a tip. They waived me off and I was relieved to see them go.The last issue I had, and a large part of the reason for my rating, is that their inability to read what I had written on the boxes meant that labels which read "GLASS" and "FRAGILE" were completely ignored and those boxes were casually placed underneath heavy boxes of books and plopped down in my new apartment as if there was no distinction. And that brings me to the stacking. Rather than stacking all of the boxes together, they were unloaded wherever the dolly stopped. Thus, my new living room was a jungle of boxes. I did all of the work of stacking them up neatly against one wall. I did not hire movers so that I could do a bunch of heavy lifting myself. I hired them because I have a terrible back and really didn't want to risk injury. I ended up overextending myself anyway. All in all, it was a good deal and I was pleased with the speed of the entire move, but I would hesitate to recommend them to my friends because of the communication problems which added so much to my stress at a time when no additional stress was needed, and compounded by the movers' lack of interest in leaving things in a manageable state in my new place. And, damnit, I am still battling the furious pimple that took over my face on the day of my move!
