STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!  If I could give zero stars I would, this company has the absolute worst customer service I have ever dealt with EVER!  Like many other reviewers, I went with this company because of the extremely low quote they gave me.  The moving specialist was amazing in the beginning.  All my concerns were addressed and questioned answered promptly, now if only the answers to the questions weren't complete lies things may have not turned out as they had.  Once my deposit was made the customer service became completely nonexistent.  We were moving from DC to Kansas City, MO and had a small shipment in comparison to those who moved 3 bedroom houses, but have very valuable items being sent.  We didn't have an apartment in KC quite yet so we went with the free storage option.  I was told that storage would be in Illinois as it was closer to the delivery location.  I also asked about delivery time and I was told it wouldn't be more than 5 days after we updated the system with our delivery address.  I then got the same information as everyone else.  Two days before pick up I would get a call from the driver giving me a time window and the day of they would call me when they were two hours out.  This was very important to us because we lived in an apartment building where we had to schedule the elevator and loading dock in advance.  Two days before there was no call.  I had to call three times before I was finally able to speak with anyone.  They assured me I would get a call that day.  Sure enough we got a call a few hours later with a time window of 12:00pm - 2:00pm.  I thought it had all worked out.  At 11:45am the next day I received a call from the driver stating he wouldn't arrive until 8pm that evening.  I told him I was called the day before and was told the pick up window would be between 12:00pm - 2:00pm.  The dock was closed after 5:00pm and the elevators would no longer be locked.  He said they could figure it would but we might need to pay more due to his "inconvenience." I told him this was unacceptable, and he needed to be there by the original pick up time.  The drivers finally arrived at 3:00pm.  He made is very clear he expected a cash tip before he even started moving anything.  Our quote only went up by about $450 with the drivers arrived for pick up.  It seems like a lot, but compared to some of the others whose quote tripled it wasn't too bad.  Once the truck was loaded and ready to go he told me it would be stored in New Jersey until we had a delivery address. I told him we were originally told that it would be stored in Illinois because it was closer to the delivery address but I was basically told I was out of luck.  Fast forward 24 days...After over 15 different attempts at getting information out of customer service (I even tried to speak with management who never seemed to be available and the one time I did get her on the phone she was completely rude and unhelpful)  I sent an email to every single email address listed on the website.  I outlined every single encounter I had with the company and the names of which employees I spoke to on each occasion.  Since my boyfriend is a lawyer and we knew our rights, we also said that although we didn't want to pursue legal action, the company had left us with no other choice.  I never got a response to my emails but did get a call stating that my stuff would arrive in Kansas City the next day.  It's funny how no one knows anything until we threatened to sue them.  I took off work because I was never given a time window for delivery.   We didn't hear anything until 6:00pm when we finally received a call stating delivery would be between 8:00pm - 9:00pm that evening.  I was so mad I took off work for nothing.  At 9:00pm we still hadn't heard anything.  The delivery drivers (who were hired contractors and did not work for Priority 1 - they told us this when we asked) were extremely rude and even went as far to tell me that they would leave my stuff on the side of the road and leave if I didn't stop giving them attitude.  All I had done was asked a few questions.  I told him to check the contract and that if he decided to leave my stuff on the side of the road I would call the police.  He didn't say another word.  They couldn't figure out how to get my box spring up our steps, but my boyfriend and his friend got it up with no problems.  They, like everyone else associated with this company were useless.  In the end all of my stuff arrived with very little damage which I'm extremely grateful for especially after reading some of the other horror stories in some of the reviews.  Do your homework and don't go with this good for nothing company!  I'll be filing a claim with the BBB and I'm still waiting to hear back from management with at the very least an apology.

I chose this moving company because they gave me a low quote and the person I was in contact with was SOOO sweet...said she had just moved from England and was here to help in any way.  The customer service alone is what sold me, not so much the price.Customer service ends when you agree to the moving services.  Upon pick up, my final statement was $600 more than my quote.  Fine whatever, just get me moved.A MONTH LATER our stuff finally arrives after endless calls begging them to deliver.  When you call asking about your stuff you get passed around...told they will call you back, never happens, NO ONE here knows what they are doing.  Anyway, our stuff finally comes YAY! Most of the boxes were smashed in and we were missing our most expensive stuff, of course. My husband threatened them, called all day every day and finally we did get 1 of our missing boxes.  We ALSO got some things that didn't belong to us.Next time I move, I will gladly pay triple what I paid these morons to actually do the job right.

They lost my wedding dress.  Lost. my. wedding. dress.   On my numerous phone calls with Priority 1 Moving's customer support, I got the sense that... nobody was even looking for it.  It's easier for them to pay the $0.69 / pound which their basic insurance supports, than to do the hard work of tracking down a lost item.  So, If anybody has discovered a large garment box (I can't remember the font or wording on the box, but inside is a custom made wedding dress with a tag reading "Ghost Tailor") ....   I desperately, dearly want it back.*** ALSO:  they left an antique table at our new house, which DOES NOT BELONG TO US..  so if you're looking for your missing table, we have it in Longmont, Colorado!  We told the guy it wasn't ours, but he refused to put it back on the truck because it was "broken," thus presumably the actual owner doesn't want it.   Why *we* would want it is beyond me.  But perhaps this table was your grandmother's and you actually want it.  Oh, one last thing:  the guy who picked up our stuff offered to fudge the numbers in our favor, if we gave him a "cash tip".   Seriously, you can't make this stuff up.

I left a terrible review about this place.  They lost our stuff and still won't get back to us.  They aren't with the BBB as they claim.  Total fraud company.  I've reported them to the state of NJ and filed a police report.

Totally unprofessional, careless, and NOT a BBB member although they list on their website that they are!  Customer service is horrible, long hold times and the person on the other end of the line has no clue of ANYTHING going on.  On a long distance move, they gave me a quote that had an unbeatable price, but on moving day all these "extra charges and fees" starting to pop up and before you knew it, we were $400 over the original quote.  They were late on pick up day and then I get a random call saying that they were down the street from my new place....No before hand courtesy call, no heads up, nothing....the guy had told me when they delivered it, they would call and let us know an approximate time of delivery.  Thank goodness a friend was near the house to let them in.  To make matters worse....some of my things were missing and when I questioned the guy as to where my 40-inch plasma was...he started stuttering and said it must be on another truck or back in the warehouse!!!! SERIOUSLY!!?!?!? Then he had the audacity to say that his inventory sheet only listed a 27-inch TV, yet I'm sitting there looking at my copy that clearly states differently.  Now we're dealing with their clueless customer service and nemroid dispatch team to find my tv, bedrailings and couple boxes that pulled a Houdini during the move.  I'm disgusted with their service and currently writing up a nice long complaint to the BBB.   Don't give these people your money...you're better off strapping the items to a wagon and hauling it yourself!
