Professional Movers. They helped me and my wife move from Manhattan to Brooklyn. Guys showed up on time did a great job. Everything was top quality. We will call them again for our next move. We will recommend this company.

No Show. Scheduled appointment in writing a week in advance. Received four emails back in forth, price, time and date confirmed clearly in writing. The morning of the move, the company is a no show. I call Anthony K, the owner. He can not remember speaking with me or any of the four emails he sent. One would have to be INSANE to trust these people with their possessions.

To reply to your comment:  No one was rude to you!  I have all the saved emails that went back and forth answering questions that I would be happy to post :-)  I never spoke with anyone on the phone - and all emails were pleasant between you and I.  Also - you didn't speak to me about wanting to see a contract or insurance.  That was my husband - who is never rude to anyone.  Again - you are the ONLY moving company who told me it would be done it one day and you are the ONLY moving company who refused to let us see what a contract looks like or what the insurance entails.  Further - you are the ONLY moving company - or legit business - that demands a cash only payment.  Who carries a couple thousand dollars in cash on them??  You refused to even accept a bank check when we offered that as opposed to cash.  So you can try to justify having to stop for gas and whatever - but thats bogus and we all know it.  What company can't afford to get gas without cash directly from the customer??  That was the biggest reason for knowing something was fishy - then not being able to see what a contract entails or what insurance covers is another huge issue.  Good luck with you "business."  Oh - and the other moving company I reviewed - they are a legit company and they have already contacted me apologizing and are now working with me :-)  This company is really sketchy - no way are they legit.  Their reviews on Yelp and such are all from people who are connected via facebook and most live in CA.  Its always weird when the actual employees and their facebook friends are the people posting amazing reviews.  These guys quoted me cheap (good I thought).  In the quote they state they only charge one way for traveling expenses - odd since we were moving 350 miles away.  Really?  You will pay the gas to get back and such??  Then they I say how all the reviewers were facebook friends and NOT local.  The one legit review (seemingly) was a 1 star.  Then they told me they would do the move in 1 day - something that no legit company can do because of the laws regarding working hours and drive time.  I knew it was too good to be true.  Finally - the guys told me that they only accepted cash and we had to pay them $700 up front and then the rest at the new location.  Very odd.  What company only accepts cash??  When questioned about this - they would not answer other than "that is all we accept."  We offered to give them a bank check - as I needed soem sort of proof that I paid them for my job to reimburse me.  Nope - wouoldn't accept.  I asked to see a contract and insurance that they told me is offered - but then they said I can't see the contract or anything until they show up to move me.  OK - RUN!!!  Do not hire these people.  Clearly a scam.

Great experience with NYC movers and packers! Called before arrival window with a more specific time, packed everything efficiently and kept me updated on their ETA to my new home throughout the traffic they hit. Would definitely use them again!
