I have used Moving your Way twice now. The move was less expensive than all the other quotes I received and the movers did a good job.As others have mentioned they really pressure you into bigger tips. I tipped $40/mover and they still complained and acted insulted.

I've never would imagine to have such an easy and fast move. The guys were so caring with our belongings. I REALLY recommend it, truly. They reassembled everything and i didn't see a single scratch. Fast, caring, cheap and professional.

I was referred to Moving Your Way by a friend who had moved from an UWS studio into a 1 bedroom in a Harlem building that I was also moving into. I submitted my request for a quote online about two weeks before my move date, and Igor got back to me via email within an hour max. I also had to re-adjust my number of boxes, as I totally underestimated that, and the quote never changed. Note: they do only take cash, certified check or money order, so hence why the bill can't really change. I decided to pay cash. I asked Igor if they could bring along wardrobe boxes, and that was no problem. Three guys, Roma's team, showed up EARLY for my move, after two confirmation calls the evening before and morning. They were so nice and professional. I am amazed at how quickly they got the job done, within the three hour estimate, for what was a "long" distance move for them form E. 70's to Harlem. The wardrobe boxes are usually $8 to rent but he only charged me for one. They wrapped all furniture, the AC, and even shored up some boxes with extra tape. I do recommend you be organized, and even try to move boxes near the door or in the hall, as they load them first and for walk ups, try to move boxes down steps one guy per floor at at a time while one stays with the truck. These guys are great--professional, on time, and did a fine job, and I have already recommended them.

I'm always skeptical when I see so many 5 star reviews for a moving company, but we just used this company over the weekend for a move from Upper East Side to Long Island City, and they were great. We had a large 1 bedroom, first floor of a walkup and moved to an elevator building. The communication leading up to the move was clear. Igor was very helpful in providing the COI to both apartments. We only communicated through email. Sascha and two other men arrived at 8:25am for our 9am move, which worked well for us since we were all packed. He drew up the contract at our apartment. $96/hr, minimum 3 hrs, $10 per COI. We didn't have anything that required disassembly or assembly (I prefer to do that myself), but they will do it for you if you ask. It was raining hard the day of our move. They covered and wrapped everything that required it. They were out of our old apartment by 9:05am. (We had 35 boxes, a dresser, large mirror, some artwork, two bookcases, queen size bed, 4 dining room chairs, two lamps). They quickly got everything into the new apartment and were done by 10:15am. They took a lot of care, and nothing was broken. There were also no surprise fees. No extra costs for materials (wrapping and tape). Altogether, we spent $480 with $40 tip/mover, which is much less than other places we were quoted. Hopefully we don't have to move again for awhile, but if we do, we will definitely use this company again.
