What we Charge

We have a well structured charging system. The local transportation system incurs rate by an hourly basis. For long distance, charges are set at a fixed rate or per project rate as applicable. A flat rate or comprehensive all inclusive cost can be applied. Packing costs are not included in these calculations. We have made it our mission to: Load and unload all of the items to and from the truck. Take apart and put back together all standard furniture. Transportation of your household items. Provide wrapping materials, pads and blankets to protect your personal property. Secure all fragile and bulky belongings. Provide a basic, limited protection of $0.60 per pound per article. Include in the fees – all taxes, tolls and mileage for your move. Offer short term storage at no extra charge.

we were moving from brooklyn to minneapolis, mn and needed a reasonable mover. all of the good references i had were either for in-town only, or companies that we just absolutely could not afford. i knew not to take the low-ball offer, but everything else was so insanely, astronomically high. enter Matt from Moving Masters! totally reasonable. not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either. he was so friendly and helpful every step of the way. explained all of my options to me with great detail. i never felt like i was in the dark about anything. the day of the move-out went smoothly, and our stuff was in MN in FOUR DAYS. (we had to wait an extra two days because of a weird weekend parking issue on our block, but if that hadn't happened we would have gotten our stuff so quickly).we are still unpacking, but have found not one thing to be broken. even our wine glasses were intact! i absolutely, whole-heartedly recommend Moving Masters. i was so nervous to trust them, but i'm so glad i did. i would use them again without hesitation.

I had just had a really bad move experience the week before, so I was so up front and careful. I sent an inventory with sizes and dimensions. I listed any problems, like two flights of stairs. I listed the items that had to be wrapped or needed special attention.The large hard to move pieces, I gave great detail and talked them over with the guy who "brokered" the move. He was very nice and we had a good conversation. He said the lead guy for the movers would come by during the week to get the best idea of what was needed. That was on Monday. Didn't hear from the movers until Saturday. Never came by.So of course they show up move day with a truck much too small. They claim they only got half the list I had emailed on Monday fro the broker. Wanted to charge $500 more for two trips. That wouldn't work for me time wise, so I had to rent another truck. $275 for that. We treated all the guys to lunch. And because we didn't have the proper size truck, the most important piece, and a special wrap piece never made the trip.We now have to find a way and the $$$ to move the items that had to be left behind.I do have to say the movers themselves were courteous and professional. They wrapped things well, were carful in every way, and worked quickly. I have no beef with then. They were good. It's management/oversight I blame.When I called the person who arranged the move, the best he could say is "That's how moving goes. You're never quite sure unless someone comes out and takes a look". When I reminded him that someone was suppose to take a look, but never showed, he so eloquently stated, "I don't know what happened with that".Ladies and Gentlemen, another move horror story. They didn't try to scam for more money on the spot, but the move is costing me at least $600 more than the quoted, and referred to as "all inclusive" price!!!!
