Akmal and his team took the most exceptional care of me and my possessions today. They had an inspiringly positive attitude, worked very hard, were fun and executed the toughest maneuvers quickly and with smarts only seasoned movers bring to the table (because they know they only have to take of one of its legs to get it through the door.)It was a pricey move worth every penny because the things I care about are in excellent shape and I didn't have to worry about a thing. They even made it within the estimated time, and since they charge by the hour, this was a huge deal to me. I'm young and single, so investing in this service felt extravagant but at the end of the day, I could NOT have done this without Moishe's.Thanks so much!

I Would put ZERO stars if possible!I recently moved across country with my husband and everything worked out fine, except which moving company I picked to use. The big problems started from the beginning - although I wouldn't realized how badly I was being hustled until later - the Moishes' sales rep lied about numerous things to obviously get the sale:- she assured after I inquired that I'd get a discount because a friend recommended me, when actually there was no such thing- she grossly (more than 50%) underestimated how much the cost of the move would be- she lied and said, "paperwork doesn't really need to be exact when it comes to listing your items."When the movers arrived they were completely shocked that we weren't bringing exactly the same things that matched the list. There was a foreman who seemed fine but aggravated with the miscommunication the entire time. They damaged the walls in our home (to their credit - I guess? - they did compensate us for that). Finally, we called the big boss, so upset that the amount was going to be so much higher and renegotiated another price. THEN after everything was in the truck, the seemingly decent but disgruntled foreman says, "well bad news guys, it's gonna cost more." Ummmm ! What the &@&7(@9@!!!!!On the receiving end, our things arrived on the last day within the guaranteed window of delivery. Fine. Technically, they did nothing wrong there. On that day, two legitimate movers showed up with three men who were clearly day laborers, who could barely move much at all. This time the movers seemed shocked at all the stairs leading to our home from the outside - the sales rep assured me previously that made no difference. Then, after one of the real movers injured his hand, his colleague told him to superglue it and keep going. Appalled, looking at this man with a bleeding hand, I told him my husband would drive him to the hospital. He seemed relieved and they went. For the remainder of the day, the moving process was slow, grueling and suffered with the absence of that 2nd real mover. We were never reimbursed anything for that inconvenience.I was horrified how unprofessional the whole process was while using Moishes. Terrible experience. They deserve no stars!Sent from my iPhone
