Mini Movers NYC is the Worst moving company ever!!!! They don't deserve any stars! We needed to move and found this ad for movers on craigslist which sounded good and reasonable, my husband spoke with Kevon (Proprietor) said they charged by the hour and gave us a quote of 3 hours to move us from our one bedroom in the east 30's to our new home uptown in Harlem ($90.00 per hour). Kevon then called us the morning we were moving and said they were running late, finally showed up almost an hour later, he had 2 other guys with him, very unprofessional looking and one of them was just pure lazy, the other guy just wanted to match the box sizes, needless to say it took about 4 hours for them to try to fit everything in the moving truck, it felt like it was the first time they were loading a moving truck with furniture and boxes!!! Kevon asked me to take a cab and take 5 boxes with me since they could not figure out how to fit them with everything else, I said no and waited for them to pack everything! Very frustrating experience!!! They finally showed up at our new place (they were late and would not answer his cell) and unloaded the truck. After they left and we started unpacking our boxes and looking at our furniture we found dents in our armoire, desk, the corner of our dining table was broken, cups and frames were broken as well!!! We called Kevon and told him what we found and that we were disappointed with the damage that they caused and he said he would stop by, he never did and he actually refused to answer our calls!!! If you see his ad on Craigslist DON'T USE HIM!!! They are very unprofessional and lazy and don't respect your property!
