I highly recommend MF DeliveryIt was last minute and I had 2 dressers a 60" television and a small bookshelf that had to move from manhattan to brooklyn same day.Received confirmation first thing in the morning, driver was on time and extremely polite and helpful.When I move next time it will for sure be MF Delivery.

Found them on citymove.com, a GREAT website for finding movers, and chose MF because their bid was lower than others, they had excellent reviews, and I thought the name was funny.  (Where I'm from, MF is an abbreviation and not a compliment,  I figured if they could overcome a name like that, they must be good.)  We just had a few things, but they had to go 80 miles and be delivered to a house in the middle of a woods.  Our building is very strict about insurance and they helped me at the last minute to make sure I had the proof our resident manager required. We contracted for two guys but they sent three, no extra charge.  All were pleasant, polite and super careful.  Showed up exactly on time, too.  Highly recommended!

Service = 4 starsThey messed up my delivery day but then did work hard to rectify the situation and were quite apologetic over the phoneDelivery men = 5 stars So efficient, VERY polite, professional, and such hard workers.I booked them through Citymove...check out ratings there too.

Absolutely recommend against hiring this company. We asked them for a quote for a move within Manhattan, had them pay us a visit and asked them for a Certificate of Insurance. Two days before the move, I called them to confirm everything was in order, and they told me the insurance was not there and I had never asked for it.The person on the phone suggested lying to our new building's management, mentioning we were "friends, or cousins" so they would not require insurance. Absolutely unacceptable. I asked him how long it would take to get it, he mentioned about a week. After I arranged with the management company to let us get the certificate late, I called MF again, they explained they would raise my quote and call me again.Finally, they emailed (did not have the decency to call me) the day before the move, saying there would be no insurance at all. I called them, asked them to cancel, and the same person I spoke to the day before was not only rude but also indifferent about losing a customer.Of course, they did show up on the day of the move at my door, apparently the moving team had not even been told about all this. Impressive.Don't hire these people.

I was scheduled to move with them on NYE. Now granted we are in NYC on NYE, so traffic is a given. I dont fault them for the delays. My beef is with the communication. The storage that I was moving to closed at 530pm. I spoke with Michael throughout the delays up until the last delay. Then he told me they would store my stuff on the truck until Sunday since we wouldnt make it in time. I was told times of 1, then btwn 3-330, then 4-430. The guys didnt get there until 530. Between all this I was calling and he was texting me back. Why would I trust a company to keep my stuff on a truck that wont talk to me but will text me? What if something happened to my stuff? What was I supposed to do? Have a text convo with them. Nah I dont think so. I ended up not using them. A little too shady for me.
