Warren refused to start the move due to not having a furniture pulley and instead chose to lecture me on why it was my fault that the Uhaul company neglected to deliver the furniture pulley I requested. He was offended when I decided to disengage and walk away instead of listening to his lecturing about why the size of my truck was incorrect and why it was a problem that Uhaul did not provide me with the pulley I ordered. He verbally intimidated me and he also stole $80 worth of cash from my apartment. Very unprofessional. Luckily I was able to book with Tetris Movers for my move at the last minute - the two gentlemen who arrived quickly got to work and wound up fitting my entire 1 bedroom apartment in the 10' U Haul I ordered including items I was considering discarding after Khashif Warren's assessment that my 'truck was way too small'. I left the apartment for 10 minutes while the gentlemen from Tetris Movers were working to get the movers gatorades and water bottles - nothing was missing or stolen upon my return to the aprartment - what do you know? Please I caution you, do not do business with this guy or anyone at Marjam Movers. Trust me.

The best moving crew on the planet. We recently went through a rough long  distance move involving two load ups and two unloads. Our stuff had to stay in storage while we found permanent digs. We needed a crew to unload our Uhaul and pack the contents of a 20' truck into a fifth floor storage room. The moving gods were smiling on me when I selected Marjam Movers from Uhaul's partner company 'Moving Helpers.'They arrived on schedule, scoped out the logistics of the job and went straight to work. I have never seen such hard working men in my life. Never took a break, were careful and considerate with our possessions, took the trouble to help us pull out the items we were taking to the hotel, and they remained cheerful and polite throughout four hours of heavy labor.Warren is in charge of the business and we were glad to have him along.  He advised us that when the time came to unpack he recommended a three-man crew (I had ordered two men this time).  Although it's more per hour, it would end up reducing the number of hours needed. He took the trouble to explain all this clearly.We were so pleased that when the happy day arrived to move into our home, we didn't hesitate but contacted Marjam directly and set up the next job.  Their communication is excellent - we exchanged  many a text message and phone call while making the plans. Once again, the crew was on time (waiting for us, in fact!) and they worked, worked, worked with speed, efficiency, and care, both in loading the truck and unloading at the new residence.  I can't recommend them highly enough. They deserve seven stars.  Note, they serve a much wider area than it shows here.  Our move involved Rockville Centre and Hempstead.  I truly hope it will be a l-o-n-g time before we move again, but if we did I would trust the job to Marjam.

Intended to hire them to load a Uhaul... So two days before the move I get a phone call from a guy with a crying child in the background asking me about essentially for an inventory of what needed to be moved..  Upon learning the HELPERS I was hiring would actually be helping others there was suddenly a problem... When I asked for the reservation to be canceled I was hung up on.... What ever happened to customer service?? STAY AWAY... Everything worth the money isn't worth the hassle!

Warren and Ralph helped us move in September 2015 (yes, I know! Procrastination!). This is our sixth apartment in as many years, so I know a thing or two about moving. This was the most painless move ever. These guys were great - punctual, friendly (they didn't even mind our serial licker of a puppy who got in their way a few times) and competent. We'll use them for our next move for sure.

I booked Marjam for a moving job and couldn't be happier. Warren and his men were very efficient, professional, and completed the job in no time. I would highly recommend them for your next move.
