This is a world-class moving company- seriously, the real deal. I couldn't be happier with this move!!This past week, I arranged for a move from a 2nd floor apt (with a tight staircase) in Long Island to an UES apartment. It was a totally seamless , high quality operation for a very fair price- a GREAT price!!! From the start, I felt that this company was exceptionally clear and honest. They were upfront about the costs, what it included/didn't include, and the paperwork. Sam, in the office, was always quick to respond and he was able to coordinate a COI for my building management in a very short time. The moving team- Eric, John, and Sarvar- was early (!), very efficient, patient, kind, and most importantly- careful. I had so many precious pieces of furniture (fragile, etc.) They carefully disassembled and wrapped each one. At one point, they even took down the front door of the house to fit the desk. Quite a handy bunch!! Eric and team disassembled/moved my furniture, wardrobe, and boxes (into an apt that was under construction) in just under three hours- from Glen Cove, LI to Manhattan on a weekday morning. The entire time, they were total professionals and handled everything (parking in NYC, etc.) with ease. I felt that I could trust them and that they really cared about doing a good job. The amazing thing is that this move cost 43% of what other companies had quoted ($519 vs. ~$1200). I initially thought I was being taken for a ride but, it was an excellent choice. 20/20 hindsight :) I hope I can save others the hassle of searching for a bunch of quotes from other companies. Give them a call. In a city with so many options, this one is truly a gem!!!!

Eric and his team are simply AMAZING.I got things moved last Friday. It was raining very heavily. Eric and his team took so much great care of my boxes so when we moved to my new place I found all of my boxes are dry. It's amazing.Plus they arrive on time and they're extremely efficient. Kudos for those hard worker and I'm definitely going to hire them again next time.

We were canvassing for moving companies, sent them a list of items to move and the prices were mostly $700 and up. This is the only moving company with a reasonable price and quick to respond. We had a terrible experience in the past with another moving company, they damaged alot of our furnitures and even had a nerve to ask for $100 tip/person. Told myself, this time we should get the best. The movers arrived on time but our co-op management didn't approve them yet to start because the certificate of insurance wasn't sent but Sam took care of it. They waited patiently for 2 hours until they got the approval. We were worried that the movers would start charging us, especially that they waited extra hours. However they didn't and assured us we shouldn't be worried.Serge and his team were also very patient, polite and pleasant. Also very careful with our furnitures and how they handled it. No scratches, no damages, smooth workflow. Quick to disassemble/assemble our furnitures. Moved from a tiny studio apartment to a house...from Manhattan to Maywood, NJ. But they were done in 3.5 hours including travel. All I could say, I would have paid more money from other major moving companies with probably less work quality. I have no regrets choosing Manhattan Movers. Best price, hardworking and amazing team, superb job! Tip them well and maybe some pizza; they deserve it (even more)

I haven't moved in 10 years. Finding a trustworthy and fair mover was stressful.  I used YELP to check for movers with good ratings. Many similar names adding to confusion.  I was not sure how it would turn out till the end.  I'm happy to report all went well.  There was not one instance that gave me reason to wonder if this was going to end poorly.  I give Baha and his crew of 4 a 5 star rating. I am moving here from another location in several months. I will ask for these guys again.  Always give a 20% tip anywhere for good service.

Eric, James and John are professional movers. They were on time, highly efficient and made my move from Midtown to UWS seamlessly. Thank you guys for a job well done!I will definitely call you next time I need to move.
