I met Jamie when he was working another job and I mentioned I was in the process of selling my house and moving.  Jamie extended his services, and because it was on a personal level, I felt more comfortable calling his moving company.  There are so many advertisements and friends telling me of pricing, I was at a loss on who to choose.  He came an assessed what needed to be packed and moved.  The estimate was very reasonable!  He came the day before to pack and the following day sent four men.Brian's crew, with Quan, Raul and Robert were diligent, steady, and hard working!  They got the job done, and in the time they estimated!  Not to mention, some of the most beautiful men I've ever met!  I highly suggest Lucky Jak's for for a reasonable price, and a safe and easy move!Love, Light and Blessings,Julia H.

My mother had just died in NY and I was cleaning out her house and trying to figure out how to move  things back to my house in PA. Jamie put me at ease by reassuring me he would be able to take care of the move. He was prompt, courteous and so gentle with my mothers belongings. Everything was packed with care, and handled with kid gloves. The pricing was very reasonable and he could not have been nicer and yet professional at the same time. I will gladly recommend him to anyone and use his services again when the time arises

I had a great experience with Lucky JAK's. Pricing was very clear - and reasonable (though the three hour minimum is unfortunate). The movers worked both efficiently and professionally, and went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. I'm so happy I went with this company and would absolutely use them again!

First they came 3 hrs late which caused me to missed my cable appointment and have a penalty from the building I moved to. As a result, I lost my move in deposit of $300. While unloading the truck, the movers were aguring, taking their time ( of course they are being paid by the hour ), I caught one guy just sitting around while he was suppose to unload the truck to speed up the process.  Overall, terrible experience. Unprofessionalism at it best. Plus, I lost my ladder they were utilizing during the moving process and don't know when will I get it back. They have not made any effort to get my ladder back. Not sure why the others put a 5 stars review because I didn't experience the same. Not sure why...I took them to court but they never showed up. It seems they don't really care about their customers nor their reputation.

I entered criteria for my move via Thumbtack - Lucky Jaks sent me a quote, indicating hourly charges .... I firmly believe moves should be based on how much stuff you have to move, how far, and how many flights of stairs without an elevator.... so I wrote back that I prefer a mover who doesn't charge hourly but has a flat rate, and received this reply:"Sorry Paul I did not know u were a expert on the moving ,I guess all of us moving companies like 90% of the ones out here have been doing it wrong all these years. Good luck trying to penny pinch and see how good of quality you get."Take this as you will, as a representation of the amount of respect this person has for customers.
