It's always easy to remember the unpleasant experience for people but truth is that most ppl don't take the time to compliment a company that did great cause I guess that believe it's the norm ...So just wanted to take a min and give this guys a shout and great job for 5 star service.Move was done quick and efficient, pricing was average and up ( but you go cheap, you get super cheap and who wants that right ) some damaged items packed mostly by me and some nicknacks but we all know that's moving. BUT must important for me was communication and delivery time ..Met all my expectations and much more ( and believe me that's a task by its own)Guys, keep up the great work. Thanks again for making this move a much easier move than expected.

A move within Brooklyn.... difficult under the best of circumstances. With this company... a total nightmare.I have moved many times in my life. This was, by far, the worst moving experience I've ever had. While the movers themselves were courteous and did their job when they did finally show up, they showed up an hour and half later than the 4 hour window the company gave us. Our move was planned to be from one apartment to another and then an additional trip to our storage unit. After the truck was loaded at the first apartment, we got in our own car and drove to the next apartment where we waited over an hour for the movers to show up. My boyfriend tried repeatedly to get the driver and customer service on the phone. When he did finally get in touch with the office, he was not met with a sympathetic or even apologetic agent. He was treated as if he were the one being unreasonable for being upset. After they finally showed up, they called my boyfriend and said they had the wrong number (which can't possibly be true, if they called him successfully to tell him so) and that they were outside waiting for him. Because they were late showing up in the first place and again late getting to the second apartment, it was too late to make it to our storage unit before they closed. This forced us to leave our belongings in a truck over night and arrange for yet another time the following morning to load into our storage unit. The following morning I sat for an hour waiting for the movers to show up with our things at our storage facility. When they arrived the back of their truck looked like the aftermath of an earthquake and the movers had obviously made another stop before coming to us, because the truck was full of other people's belongings that they had to remove in order to get to our things. Again, the gentlemen doing the moving were nice enough, but that was little consolation for their tardiness and the conditions under which our things were delivered. We have since been dealing with customer service because we feel we should not have to pay full price for this kind of service. Our move was not made as promised and has caused hours of additional time wasted, not to mention the frustration of a very unaccommodating customer service department, who promptly charged the full amount of the move with the insulting offer of $50 off the cost which was well over $1000 to begin with. Very disappointing experience.

I picked this moving company based on their Yelp reviews. They only had 4 but I thought I would give them a chance... It was one of the worse decisions I have ever made. My lease was up & I needed to move from my apt in Manhattan to Port Imperial, with moving a few items after into storage after. I called my previous movers and other more well reviewed agencies on Yelp but there was no availability for the weekend of Aug 20th. I saw this company, called and they told me they could move me tomorrow. They agreed on full packing a 2 bedroom apt, moving within the window of 3 hours 12-3 and unloading within the next 3 hours. 3-6. They showed up the next day late, not at 12, but 1:30 and when I called the management they said there was a window. Clearly if they move in a doorman building they would be aware the window for moving begins at 12. It is not a window like you get with the phone company, and promptness is of the utmost importance. They showed up proceeded to slowly wrap everything and said they were tired from the morning move before and it ended late. Around 4 the original crew that came, left... Yes they vanished for almost 2 hours. Time that they charged me for. Because the driver had to go back to school. And the other movers were tired. So they we had to wait for other movers to come at 6. During this time, we called customer service and were connected to someone local and a lady in AZ who apologized and said they would do their best. But the apology means very little unless services are performed to back it up. Eventually the new crew showed up. These guys were a bit faster. And they finished the move by 9. At this point the apt I was supposed to move to window was finished. Yet they still wanted to move in at 9. All the customer service numbers were closed. And they called the dispatch. They moved my stuff to the storage in Bronx. Complaining that the truck they brought was too big. The whole time this company kept blaming me. And saying I need to pay more for the truck and keeping it in the Bronx. If they are professional moving company would they not know the window, getting the correct number of men, ensuring they don't leave halfway in between. Being courteous enough not to blame me the truck is too big. I went to my parents home and stayed there, with none of my belongings. The next day someone from the moving company called and said they would "try" and move me Sunday because the drivers were too tired, and you have to have some sympathy. I do, for the drivers, not this disorganized moving company. I begged them for my stuff, wrote them an email. And they sent a very condescending one back.... of course to no surprise, blaming me. After begin from my parents they agreed to send 2 guys and I would help move. They came and with me completely helping unload the truck, getting in, moving it in the storage and then doing the same at my apartment, the job was finished Saturday morning. I tipped both movers and gave them some nice furniture and a TV on Sat morning. Why, because yes, I am sympathetic to these men. But The manner and lack of professionalism of this company, and having to beg for them to complete my move the next day is beyond what anyone would expect of a moving company. To add insult to injury, they first charged 200 as a deposit. The cost of the move was 1850. And they told us the addtl. charge to the card will be 1650. And in person that is what they did. We have the receipt for 1650. But they still charged 1850 + original 200 deposit. Forget giving a discount since I helped with moving, or at least calling to apologize on Monday by the management which did not happen. But their audacity to not honor their agreement & overcharge us, shows their gall, impudence and careless nature for customer service Moving is stressful enough, I would strongly recommend an alternative moving company.

I have to say that I have had a amazing experience so far hiring Last Minute Relocation for my move from CT to TX.  After getting the run around from so many other companies and reading mediocre reviews about other companies I decided to contact LMR after reading all positive reviews on them.   Upon initial contact I spoke with a representative named Demetre and he provided me with excellent costumer service, he walked me through everything step by step and even called me back if there was a question he could not answer right away. By talking to him you could really tell that this company really does its due diligence to assure quality costumer service and affordable pricing.  The day before my scheduled move date I got a call from the company providing me with their estimated time of arrival.  The day of moving day (today) I got a call from the movers confirming  the time they would be here, and sure enough, they arrived on time and in uniform!  I was greeted by three guys and they were able to load all my belongings within an hour.  They rapped everything and packed everything neatly on the truck, and they did not try to scam me and charge me for that like some other moving companies do. They were all great guys,  walked me through everything and provided the paperwork regarding my move.  There were no hidden fees and the price remained the same as what I was quoted over the phone.  My only advice to you all as readers of Yelp and prospective clients, please be sure to truly take a full inventory of all your items BEFORE your scheduled move.  I believe the reason why I had a smooth transaction with this company was because I was honest about all the items I had.  Originally when I first called I was very vague about my inventory list and therefore they gave me a very low quote,  but when I got closer to my move date and I read about the horror stories from other people using companies that shook them down for more money once everything was on the truck,  I called LMR back and gave them fair estimate of what I had,  that correction to my inventory list did end up costing me an additional $250.00, but in the long run it was worth it. I highly recommend this company. Hopefully the quality of service will remain the same once I get to Houston,TX and receive my belongings.  I will update this post once I get there. Hope this helps future movers.

I have to admit I was extremely impressed with the whole move from beginning to end. I moved from Fairlawn to Tenafly in New Jersey. The salesman Gerard gave us a great quote and a guideline of what to expect and how to prepare. They are so professional and efficient. They made our move such a breeze. Everything was done in two days as they explained to us so there were no surprises. We like the way they handled our stuff with such care. Although I hope not to be moving again soon, in the future if ever again i need to move, I know I will be using them again. Great work! Thank you!
