Hertz Van Lines

Using Hertz Van Lines for my move was probably the best decision I could've made. Shopping around was a stressful process. During that time, a friend referred me to a gentleman by the name of Darren with HVL and I couldn't be happier. Minus all the bad jokes lol he was very thorough and attentive to my needs. The move itself was pretty uneventful lol. Everything went as it should have and my things arrived a lot sooner than I was anticipating. Definitely want to thank the team at Hertz Van Lines and am glad to be part of the Hertz Family now. I will definitely use them again if I ever have to move. Hopefully I won't need to but I know they're there is needed.

Do NOT utilize this moving company!!! They are the WORST. Hertz Van Lines told me that they did not sub-contract out their moving. Lies. I never once dealt with Hertz once they had my money. They passed me off to another group and have zero interest in addressing the concerns I had with my move. First they were late. I was guaranteed delivery within 7 days of pick-up. This did not happen. Second, every piece of my furniture is damaged. It looks like it went through war. Not professional movers!Third, items were missing. Just MIA and no one can tell me where they are or if I'll ever see them again. When I called Hertz Van Lines to speak to customer service he simply said "call the subcontracted moving company. This isn't our issue!" Really? I paid my money to HVL. If think they'd at least want to know that the sub-contractor is sub-par! I told him I would leave reviews as I was disappointed in the service. His response, "have fun with Yelp!" Awful!!! Finally, I've moved 5 times in 10 years for my job. I understand the process. I know hat it is never perfect but I have never worked with a company so disinterested in their customers. Take your money and go with ANY OTHER MOVING COMPANY. ANY! Anyone would be better than this. Hire your 7 year old nephew and I'm certain he'll do a better job. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE. DO NOT USE HERTZ VAN LINES!!!!

UhIt took three hours to deliberate on a matter already discussed and promised.   As a broker, I felt they could have done more to see that they hired the right people for the job.  I hashed it out myself, working with the van line, then hertz. All the work was done, but it was a headache.   Worst of all I couldn't cancel or reschedule without losing a hefty deposit.They then canceled my other scheduled pick up on my car last minute and refunded me my deposit.While everyone was very polite, and they eventually did the job as discussed, it wasn't without a lot of stress. Not to mention the estimated 3700 was a joke.  The price jumped to 5600 once the van line arrived. Next time I'll just hire the van lines directly.

If your looking for a moving company look away from Hertz ! They are so nice and assure you of having a good experience using them . Very convincing , However once they give you a quote and a  low one it is , you think your making the right decision. Now they have your down payment . The movers show up and review your things . They tell you that Hertz underestimated and it's going to cost $3100 dollars more ! We called Hertz and there response , nothing we can do ,your going to have to work it out with the movers !    Sweet talking Andrea said she would try and help us . After that call she never got back to us . When we called Hertz and  asked to speak to Andrea she would not get on the phone . A real class act . In fact we filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau , they informed us that Hertz would not talk with them . Wow , this is how they do business.   I will also add that when our things were delivered , 80% of the boxes were crushed and several boxes looked like they rolled them off the truck .   I'm an honest hard working person . I respect honesty . I felt Andrea was honest with us . Yes she is nice and convincing . I'm so disappointed in her . I thought she was really helping us . So don't be fooled . It was a very costly mistake !   If you read the other reviews , there are more bad than good .    SHAME ON YOU ! HERTZ  VAN LINES    Shame on you Andrea , I thought you are professional at your job . And I thought you were just a nice person . I'm not mad at you , I feel sorry for you .  Thank you Yelp for giving me this opportunity to inform others about Hertz . They don't even deserve one star !

Hertz Van lines will not talk to us . All because I wrote a bad review . I tried to speak to the woman who said she would try and work something out . Now she won't get on the phone , real class act .   Here's the deal , if I don't hear from them and work something out . My next step is to name names . So when , you the unsuspecting customer speaks to them you will know who they are , and know your about to get scammed.   It's So obvious they have more bad reviews than good ones , so why would anyone think twice to use them .   Thank you Yelp for helping people like us to let others know about businesses that rip you off ! Such as Hertz Van Lines .   Yes , you have been warned !!!!!
