Definitely the best experience I've had with movers. I had to do a last minute move because the original movers that I hired never showed up. I went on thumbtack and this company was one of the first to respond. David wright (the owner) is very professional, answered all questions i had and was able to set me up with 3 movers and a truck within a few hours. The 3 workers called when they were 5 minutes away and showed up on time. I believe their names were Andie, John and Wayne (hope i got the names right!) From the very beginning they were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They showed up with all needed materials. Never gave any attitude and was extremely patient. I had a couple of stubborn furniture that was hard to remove from my apartment. They disassembled them without any hesitation and was able to get everything done in a timely manner. Even David wright texted me during the move to ensure that everything was going okay. I am so thankful to have found this moving company and I would recommend it ESPECIALLY for last minute moves!!!! Thanks guys! You truly are lifesavers!!!!!! By the way the price was flat rate and worth every single dollar!!!I had to edit this to add one more thing. The owner just checked to see how everything went! I wish i could add ten more stars! Great work guys! Keep it up!

Not sure why this place only has 3 stars, because they were fantastic! These guys saved me! Other movers I hired showed up 8 hours after they were scheduled, and were entirely unprofessional and unresponsive. I was in a panic since I need to move out of my apt by the 31st. I got a quote from David almost immediately, and he was helpful and responsive throughout the process. The 4 guys got here way earlier than expected, and just finished the job in an hour and a half. I couldn't be happier or more relieved! I will definitely use them again.

Fair Price Movers are excellent! David Wright the manager talks you through the painless process. The three guys he sent, Eric, Juan and Jose I believe...were top shelf. They handled all of the furniture gently. We just moved last Friday (July 28, 2017) and it was an extremely hot and sticky day. I did not hear them complain at all and they just kept working.David calls and lets you know if they are running early or late and gives you and ETA throughout the day if anything changes. I will definitely use these guys at Fair Price movers again! Way to go guys! Thank you for making such an unpleasant task like moving.... bearable!

Absolutely horrible experience. Hired them on Thumbtack to move several furniture pieces, including 2 that i specified as over 50lbs and one that was not only heavy but very fragile. 2 guys (Eric and some other guy) showed up in a passenger SUV, with no blankets, no dollies, no tape, and lots of attitude. The job could've easily been done in 1 trip with nothing bigger than a cargo van, but because the SUV was a passenger vehicle with seats, 3 trips were required - and since I didn't have any more time in my schedule after the 2nd trip (which still even required me to take a small table that wouldn't fit in their packed SUV in a cab with me) to make the third, I still have items that needed to move into storage sitting in my apartment. I wasted an extra hour of my day due to the extra trips and their unpreparedness and wasted $250 on a job that was done poorly and improperly and David, the owner, was completely unhelpful the entire time. He didn't answer my calls - instead texting me that he was too busy in "an important meeting" for his "other profession." I hope he keeps his other day job because he sucks at this one. I've had a dozen fantastic experiences on Thumbtack, but this has been the worst, by far. Do not hire these people. They don't provide anything close to professional service.
