His sons took the reins and seamlessly continued what their father started. Chris and Bill started in the moving and storage business in 1978 with their father-in-law Nicholas Albano, Sr., at Nick’s Moving and Storage. Christopher Galletta and Bill Hehterington acquired Drennan Movers in early 1994. What Chris and Bill have done is to take two great family businesses in memory of the men who came before them, who they hold in the highest esteem.

“We feel it is our obligation to honor them by keeping with the standards they laid down before us.” In a world where marketing and slick ads are designed to attract your attention, and actual service gets lost somewhere between the graphics and the slogans, Drennan Movers thrives on providing its customers with constant consideration and excellence. Using Drennan Movers was a pleasure. Several years ago I referred them to move a friend of mine who was moving from the Jersey Shore back to Staten Island. The move went so smooth and the mover were so careful I used Drennan Movers to move my office. Great job and always professional. Drennan Movers hands down is the best choice to move your apartment or office

Moving can and is a stressful time but this company took all the stress out. Bill was my contact person. From beginning to end he was there for me. The move out of my NY apartment was quick and efficient - actually cost me less than the estimate;  furniture and boxes placed in storage and when I was ready for the delivery to Florida all arrived in perfect condition and on the day promised. Bill was in phone contact with me from beginning to end. Highly recommend!!!

They earned every star! Roy, Kenny and Chris moved me from a house to a 2 bedroom elevator apartment. I did a walk through with them and signed the paperwork AND "BAM", they were off. Professional, efficient and you could tell they knew what they were doing. I even gave them my flat screen to move. I cant say enough about these gents. I made sure they had lots of ice and water and let them use my frig for their Gatorade. Never did I see them standing around doing nothing. They were there to work. At $150 an hour plus MTA charge of $10 (still don't know what the hell that is), I was afraid they would take their time. Once they started, they didn't stop. They beat me to the new place and had already brought up items. I cant thank them enough (all though they all walked away with a well deserved and very good tip), partly because it was humid and 90 outside and they didn't say a word about it. I am grateful for their hard work and dedication. If you hire Drennan, I would recommend you request this crew. They are amazing. Thank you guys!!! I hope you read this...
