UPDATE : Citi movers reached out to me... and were very apologetic about their service ( and my experience). They offered to pay for the damages( they quoted peanuts and asked me to remove the pics and the review... I thought moving companies have insurance for breakage and damage). SO it was a conditional apology. The moving company is under new management... and are adamant on setting the past right. I am sure the new guys are going to do a better job. Like I said I didn't have problem with the guys involved in the moving process. It was the people at the desk, who made it unpleasant experience. Citi movers..,AARGHHH...where do I start?? What a disappoint.The loading went fine. Tried to save a few bucks... Moving cross country, big mistake. We were quoted 1500dollars over our estimate( I was ok with that). Then they say the delivery will be done in 7 to 14 business days ... Wrong again.  1st of all my agent Alex disappeared, I emailed her, and got a failure delivery notification.They never answer their phone and when they do... But Customer service is super rude.Jessica especially she got so defensive, when I asked her where my stuff was. Such a sweet talking liar.. When I spoke to her before she said...5 business days ( I was surprised) and then when I spoke to her 2 weeks later, she informs me  that she just started working for them, when I asked her about my moving agent Alex, she had no clue about who, what where??and then she started fighting.  Hello ??? I am paying you 4300/- plus tip. You can Atleast be polite. Please spend a few more bucks and stay away from these scammers. You want to stay In this Industry Citi movers, Atleast deliver on your promise. Because remember you are not moving out stuff for free. Also they broke my stuff.... When I called them about... Jessica in her famously rude tone told me to email her the pictures..that was more than a month back... Haven't heard from Them since.... Not surprised. And after reading this review you still want to hire them... That's definitely surprising. Good luck. Less than a star if that's an option.

Do not use this moving company or their DBA Seal Van Lines. They are a predatory moving company who will extort you for more money after sending you a Binding Estimate. They are very hard to get a hold of, aggressive on the phone, even when you show them the laws they are violating. They do not care, if you did use them and have an issue be sure to report it to the FMCSA, they have an online reporting system and if they receive enough complaints they will close the business. This company quoted us at $2636.24 and asked for a total of $3850 or they would not deliver our goods. They threatened to put it in storage and charge us more. This is very illegal and the owner did not care, when I told him he was reported to the FMCSA and could lose his business he said he didn't care. Now I will have to take them to small claims court for damages due to extortion. They never sent a bill of lading even though their contract states they will, the never sent a supplemental estimate, and never gave us an increased estimate before beginning the move. All things their own contract states they have to do (as well as federal law.) I will update this review after I have inspected everything hoping there is no damage.This company and their DBA Seal Van Lines will try to extort you for any move they do for you. Find a reputable company even if it means you pay more.

If I can give this company zero stars, I would! I wish we would have read these reviews before we went with this nightmare of a company. My husband and I were desperate to come home to California from Maryland, and we get many quotesFor moving. This place come out reasonable at the time. I wish we went a different route. Not only did they charge us double then they quoted us they demanded a ridiculous tip. We have been waiting for our stuff for 1 month now. The customer service is horrible. We have to call from a different number to get ahold of someone! I am scared they will rip us off. If anyone knows how I can press chargesOr how to get them out of business please let me know. Everything is on that truck!

DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS!!!!!!This might be the most unprofessional business I ever dealt with.  I paid them to move my belongings from Massachusetts to Florida.  They provided me with no bill of lading at pick up, at delivery or even after the delivery despite multiple requests (I still have not received on as I type this).  They called me five times and left one message on a Sunday night to schedule the delivery.  That is unprofessional in itself.  After I told them the time was not good for me, they showed up anyway at that time.  I was told the movers would call me to schedule a delivery - not for them to dictate to me when they would show up which was on a Monday morning during business hours (they are lucky that I happened to have that one day off, as I am a dentist and very rarely do not work on Mondays).When they delivered my stuff, I told them they were missing boxes.  They told me they had no more boxes.  I asked for a bill of lading.  They said they didn't have one.  After a countless number of calls to Jessica and some to Alex, I got nowhere.  Jessica would immediately get defensive on the phone instead of addressing my concerns.  I felt like I was talking to a child.  They would put me on long holds, not call me back when they said they would, and contradicted themselves on various occasions. After a couple of weeks of me being persistent, they found two boxes.  The movers called me up and asked me if I could drive 30 miles to a truck rest stop to pick up the boxes (true story).  I said no.  They came to my house and delivered the two boxes.  However, I am still missing two additional boxes: one of which has Bose speakers, an expensive Express suit jacket and all of my mail from the last two months.  Keep in mind, these three items were handed to the mover at the delivery address along with one another item that I actually did receive.  So how I got the other item but not the Bose speakers and suit jacket does puzzle me?After another few weeks of Citi Movers not picking up the phone and being put on unreasonably long holds, Alex told me that I could file a claim with "the claims department".  The web address she gave me, however, was not the claims department of Citi Movers.  Instead, it was a web address to another separate company that somehow makes money off of trying to settle claims between clients and movers.  Put in other words, Citi Movers did not offer me a check so that I could replace the missing items and instead lead me to believe that this other web address was Citi Mover's actual claims department, which it was not.I left a message with one New Jersey attorney and am awaiting to hear back from them to discuss legal action.  If anybody needs to move their belongings, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND to explore other moving options.  The last month of dealing with Citi Movers has been extremely frustrating and aggravating.
