Extremely fast movers and pretty affordable! They came on time, disassembled furniture and moved everything to their truck in less then 40 mins; super fast! When they arrived at the new location, they waisted no time and worked as a well oiled machine. The entire move from Bay Ridge to Astoria took less then 4 hours and that's including disassembling and reassembling furniture and cleaning after them selves.FYI, specify that you do not need an extra man if one is not needed as they will send one and charge you for him without you actually agreeing for an extra mover.

Do not use this company. It seems as though they are an intermediary or dispatch that schedules people looking to move with people with a truck, although that is not how they present themselves.  I was moving about an hour away and they said they would not charge for the return trip and that they had a 3 hour minimum. I remarked that this was a great deal, and they let me know it was their competitive advantage. They sent me a formal quote and I accepted. Day of, the movers came and before we left to go to our new place told my husband that there was a 6 hour minimum even though the job looked like it would take about 4. I called Bay Ridge Movers and they told me that this was untrue and to just tell the guys when we got to our destination. Upon arrival the movers tried to get me to pay for a full 6 hours upfront before they would unload. I called Bay Ridge movers back and they told me of course I had to pay for 6 hours. I said that is not what you told me when I accepted the quote and they pretty much denied everything and offered no help. On the other end the movers they sent were extremely rude. I repeatedly asked the main guy to step away from me so that I could deal with Bay RIdge Movers who caused this problem to begin with. He ignored me and remained very close to my face while his movers stood with their arms crossed refusing to move. I am 8 months pregnant and felt very uncomfortable and threatened. I wound up having to pay the price the movers demanded or they would have held my belongings hostage. Bay Ridge Movers finally admitted to their mistake, however offered no help or apology. I would strongly advise against using this company. The whole thing felt like a SCAM.
