Total s**t show from start to finish. I spent 8 years in the military and moved a lot plus many moves later in the corporate world so I have experience with moving companies. What went wrong? I'll hit the highlights:1. The truck they sent initially was too small. That was immediately obvious to anyone and we were just moving out of a 1750 sq ft house. They ended up using two trucks costing them money and me the aggravation of having to negotiate when the cost went significantly above the estimate. We had to delay our departure by a day. 2.  The 3-man loading crew on the leaving end looked to average about 65 years old. During loading the young guy (maybe 40) had an argument with the driver. He left and came back drinking a beer in a bag. Does anyone ever drink Diet Coke out of a bag?  He was not there the next day to load the truck so the average age went up and God bless them they did the best they could I suppose. It was a long process. 3. The guaranteed estimate was $7400. We packed a bunch of stuff ourselves but they still wanted to charge us $10,000. Trying to cover for the initial mistake of having to make two separate deliveries no doubt. Of course they had to have final payment prior to the last delivery. 4. On the second delivery they sent only the driver with no help so I actually had to help him carry stuff. 5. After the last delivery the driver asked me to sign credit card authorizations for charges already paid. Sloppy, very sloppy. I don't think these are bad people. I do believe their execution is pitiful, just lousy. Start to finish. I would use someone else if I had to do it again.
