I would not recommend using this moving company. They showed up late (after 6PM) and brought the wrong size truck, which meant they had to take multiple trips (and thus take more time). The workers for the most part worked hard and were nice, but they argued amongst themselves about the best way to do the move, and didn't settle on the fastest way. A few things were broken during the move as well, like ikea furniture, although that is typical. I wrote them to ask for a partial refund but got no response.

There should be 0 stars.I am not one to usually do a thing like this, but I feel obligated to do so based on my experiences with this company.  NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!  1) My computer was stolen during my move. I cannot 100% say that it was an employee of the company, but my belongings were only in their possession or mine throughout the day and the computer was gone. So, either they took it or did not watch my stuff properly.   2) In my dealings with the company, to try and recover anything related to the computer they were terrible. I had to call just about every other day to interact, because they would not return emails or phone calls. Eventually they agreed, to pay $250 for a $1,400 computer - great deal. This is less than the cost of the move (you would think they would put that one on the house).   3) After we agreed (basically I gave up before the $250 agreement and went to my insurance company), I was asked to write an email stating what I needed to submit my claim to my insurance company as well as my address for the check. Fast forward over a month and dozens of voicemails without response, I finally get a call back. They tried to lower the agreed upon payment and lied about their communication - "it is wierd that we haven't gotten your message." MInd you this is their public number for incoming sales calls. Probably a line you check. Also, every time that I was called it came from a blocked number. Oh yeah, the email that I had to send my information to was: rockinron****@aol.com (I left a few characters our for privacy) - this could not be a shadier email to be using for your legal department.   The worst part about any of this is that I cannot move forward with my personal claim until I have a letter from them (still waiting). And they said, "we have 30 days to respond".  ALL I NEED IS AN EMAIL!!! Ugh, I hate doing this, but just want to warn others of the sham this company is.   Again, NEVER USE THIS COMPANY, THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED.

What a nightmare.  I had a window of 1-4 on a Sunday, a very tight time frame on the receiving side, and I got a call at 3:57 pm telling me that they couldn't get there at the earliest at 6 pm.  The driver told me he had been given the wrong number to call me with a completely wrong area code and number.  The woman I dealt with on the phone was rude at best.  Save yourself the heartache and anxiety and never deal with Apartment Movers Inc. in New York.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I can't stress that enough! I made the unfortunate mistake of hiring them for a move into a new apartment and they absolutely damaged my new plasma with a huge cut right across the screen. The mover was flailing his knife around like Rambo and managed to cut through all the layers of padding and tape, right through my TV screen. They acknowledged it at first, and even wrote on the receipt that they had damaged the TV, however after what seemed like a 5 month war with their "legal" dept. - I didn't even receive so much as an apology. They were extremely rude, condescending and unprofessional - and I could keep going. They even went through the trouble of forging my handwriting onto a damage waiver (Which is how they wound up denying the claim). On top of all that, to add insult to injury, they had the audacity to tell me that I owed THEM money, due to their worker's "under"charging me. I'm now in the process of filing complaints with the better business beraueu and am considering taking them to small claims court. I would be extremely extremely cautious and very skeptical of ANY positive reviews from ANYONE regarding their work. These guys should not be in business! Caveat emptor!!
