OH MY GOD. PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE GOING FORWARD WITH THIS MOVING SERVICE!!!! THEY ARE A HUGE SCAM. MONICA IS A HEARTLESS B**CH. I wish I could have taken my own advice, but I was in such a rush to move...had 3 days to move from NY to CA that this seamed heaven sent. Boy was I wrong. I called to ask a few questions. After that it was game over. They wouldn't stop stalking me. Call after call after call after call. These people are ruthless, they will not stop calling until you move forward with their services. They also don't give a F what time they call. 11:30PM, 6AM ...doesn't matter. They're trying to get their scam on. Monica will sweet talk you in until you sign those damn documents. Once she does that, it's like you've singed your life away to the devil. ANYWAY, I could go on to explain my story to you in detail. BUT I'm going stop myself because all that doesn't really matter. What really matters is that you don't give them your money. Don't give them your time. Don't give them your stuff. Just STOP and find another moving company NOW! But if you do for some reason end up calling, tell Monica she's a bitch...then hang up. p.s. Yelp - for this particular company you should give us, the people, an option to rate negative stars. They don't even deserve a star!!!

Please look at my review for Stop and Move -- I did not realize that they are the same company until after I had signed the contract for Stop and Move and on the day of the move a truck with All Star showed up. In brief, 1. This company is truly horrible, I was lied to and yelled at, and treated very rudely 2. The price was doubled on me on the day of the move3. My things were delivered 2 weeks late4. MANY of my things were damaged. 4 boxes and a nightstand were lost entirely.

My sister found All Star Moving online and talked to Monica. Monica was very nice and polite during the process in the beginning. We looked at other moving companies but All Star had the lowest price and since we were moving from Connecticut to Texas. We settled with All Star because we thought we were getting a good deal. We paid the deposit then things changed. The movers were scheduled to come on Friday from 10-2. They did not show up until after 5. After they showed up they started talking about what they would not load on the truck. No Ikea furniture because it breaks too easy. Monica had stated that the drawers did not need to be emptied but the movers said that we had to empty the drawers. The movers then stated that we did not have enough room for all of our stuff and left all boxes except 3 small boxes. My sister called Monica who then became extremely rude. Monica stated that we would just have to purchase more space for an additional $2000. After my sister tried to reason with her, she hung up in my sister's face. I tried to call on Saturday due to them being closed by the time I got off work. Jessica was very helpful at first but clueless. She called the dispatcher who stated the same thing. We did not pay enough for the space allotted. I called later and talked to Jessica again,  Monica must have talked to her because she then became rude also. Monica stated that she would not come get my stuff unless I paid for another move. Then stated they would bring my stuff as soon as possible even though it was not scheduled to arrive until Friday or Saturday. She told me that I have to pay today with credit or pay with cash or money order on delivery. I was then stressed because I did not have the money due to me getting paid on Friday. The mover called me on Sunday and stated that he was 40 mins out. He arrived 20 mins later but I was at Walmart getting money orders. He refused to unload my furniture until I gave him all of the money. I had to go and get more money. He then tried to get more money because I live on the second floor. He said I had to pay $75 for stairs. I pointed out on my contract where it states that the first flight is free. He finally started unloading. He unloaded the whole truck but refused to carry my sectional, washer, and dryer upstairs. He said I will come back tomorrow. I told him he can't leave my stuff outside all night. I told him to put it back on the truck and bring it back tomorrow. My roommate and I helped him carry part of the sectional upstairs. He gave us such a hard time I was not going to help him move anything else since he was paid to move my furniture. Eventually he left my furniture under the stairs of my downstairs neighbor all night. I wrote a note and left it on the furniture hoping that it did not get stolen overnight. The next day I started calling him at 7:30 am to try to get him to come back and finish his job. He told me he is busy and then hung up on me. I called Monica. She said she would call the dispatcher to find out what happened. She then called me back and back to her rude self saying that he did not move my stuff because I refused to pay a long haul fee of $70 and a stairs fee of $75. I told her I have a witness that he said he was coming back on Monday. I had to stay at home that Monday to try to find someone to move my furniture. The maintenance men at my apartment were nice enough to bring my stuff upstairs for me. I sent emails to All Star but they have been unanswered. They broke 2 dressers and one plastic tub. They also did not load 962 cubic feet like they were supposed to, as stated in the contract.

Do NOT confuse this company with the All Star Moving in Brooklyn. This NJ company TOLD ME on the phone they were based in Brooklyn based company, so I looked at the Brooklyn reviews. This is fraud and they NJ company should be prosecuted for this and for the many awful things they did to me and other customers.  If I could describe my experience with this company in one word it would be FRUSTRATING. I used All Star Moving services to go from NYC to Denver in August 2016. I would NOT recommend their services to anyone! Throughout the entire moving process this company was aloof, rude, and incredibly deceitful. To start off the company scheduled a noon-4 window, showed up at 4 and the head mover told me they were going to take a 30 minute lunch break before they started! I reviewed the estimate, and what overage charges may be added based on space we booked vs. space we used on the truck before the movers started the job. During this conversation I stated to the head mover that I did not want to use more than the space booked and they should notify me before going over the allotted space. All seemed well until they packed the truck way over our space! When I asked them to open the back of the truck and looked inside the truck had been packed in a very inefficient manner and that seemed to be on purpose to charge more money for more used space. I asked the movers to remove an item so that I was not charged extra, and the head mover was reluctance to fix the job. It took an unreasonable amount of time to convince them to fix the packing of the truck and in that process the head mover said some short nasty words to me.I called the company a few days later to express my discontent with the move due to lateness, and the insulting words the head mover said to me. Monica, the manager, was extremely short with me over the phone and she hung up on me.I got no response form the company after being hung up on by the manager. The  on the day of our move the BIGGEST truck you could've imagined, far bigger than what had picked up our belongings in NYC, arrived in Colorado. And this is where it got beyond crazy... This truck was so large that on a normal size street the truck could not park anywhere! It was so large it blocked traffic on the street, it could not back into the alley behind our apartment (which I have driven a 24" uhuaul into) and eventually the size of this truck warranted the police showing up forcing the truck to leave. The truck had to park around the block and the movers then UNLOADED OUR BELONGINGS TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD! Now the movers, Maurice and Susan, were very kind and helped us get stuff to the front of the building, however because of the ineptitude of the company the movers showed up completely unprepared for the job. The movers told us All Star Movers regularly sends trucks that are too large to drive into a city so that they can charge extra long distance carry fees. The following days resulted in no response from the company and I'm glad to have them out of my life now. I must urge anyone considering their services to reconsider as they do not care much about their customers and generally just provide a bad service at their job.
