I would not recommend this company. I give them one star because I called and a man promptly returned my call, set up a date to pick up some old furniture and other items, and bags of discarded things I wanted removed after I moved from my old apartment. Two guys arrived at the scheduled time, and I soon realized that it was not going to go well. The guy who seemed to be in charge started rifling through my bags of discarded stuff, asking about each thing: "What is this? Does it work? What about this? It still works?" and so on for every bag of garbage I had. He seemed more concerned with separating the booty he was going to score from this pickup than actually getting my stuff out. I explained probably twenty times exactly what needed to be removed (not complicated, because all my other possessions were moved out of the apartment). The guys proceeded to take an hour and a half to remove this stuff. Rather than carrying the furniture down the stairs together, they individually slid and dropped the furniture down the stairs, as I yelled that I was going to have to pay for any damage they caused. At one point when I watched a guy roll a dresser into a door, he looked at me and said "that was just the drawers making noise." They actually asked me to help carry the stuff down. They spent a good deal of time talking to each other and talking on the phone while I waited for them to finish. Basically, this was one of those nightmare situations you hear about. I would not wish it on anyone. You would do better to hire anyone walking down the street. One star for actually showing up. Even if there were a "no star" option, I would give them one star for showing up.
