I chose the The Other Guys to move me from Chicago to Boston based on their stellar Boston reviews. I couldn't be happier with my choice. They did a fantastic job packing up my place in Chicago, storing my goods for ~1 week and delivering my goods in Boston. During the move their was *minor* damage to one piece. I say this not to scare you away (firmly feel like this could happen to anyone). I mention the damage because if damage occurs during the move, this is the company you want servicing you. The team at the Other Guys were AMAZING to deal with. They were 1000% professional in addressing the issue. There were ZERO debates about who was responsible for the damage. Also, I did not have to take care of it myself and wait for a refund. They came out to pick the item up, sent it out to repair and then redelivered it to my home. They did it ALL. They were kind, respectful, courteous and helpful during every interaction. Many movers go radio silent once they've been paid and your goods delivered. Not the Other Guys. They were amazing and I would absolutely use them again.

Horrible. I called to reserve a time slot for my upcoming move. I asked if there were and MOVERS available on the date of my move. The gentleman on the phone responded that it was not a hotel (clearly thought I asked if there were any "rooms" available), and continued to freak out on me. Once I realized what had happened, I attempted to remedy the situation and explain the miscommunication to him. The concept seemed far too complicated for the simpleton on the other end of the phone, and he ended up just hanging up on me (completely unprofessional). I attempted to call back, but my call was never answered and voicemails never returned. I don't know who they have working the phones over there, but he lost my business forever.

I am not a fan. Moving is a big deal, selecting a good moving company is important. Need to improve professionalism amongst company employees. As a witness to an extreme lack of professionalism, I will never bring my business here.

I've had the pleasure of utilizing TOGMC for three moves now including Chicago to Boston, Boston to Chicago and Chicago to St. Louis and am so thankful to have been introduced to them.  Julius and his team are very professional, prompt and efficient. They take the time to do things right ensuring all your things arrive safe and sound. Each experience I've had with them has been seamless and pricing has always been quite competitive while the value is outstanding.  TOGMC is the best at what they do. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for great reliable movers in the Chicago area.
