Established in 2012. The Chicago Green Box is a local company that rents reusable plastic moving boxes to save Chicagoans more time and money over traditional moving supplies. They have recently launched their website thechicagogreenbox.com, and moved to their new location in North Center, Chicago; now servicing the entire Chicago Metropolitan area.

Was very happy with my experience with this company, i love the green boxes concept, it was very easy to pack and move that way ,The movers are highly professional and experience and moved all of our stuff in no time.I was very happy with the price of the move.I will definitely use them again in the future.Thanks guys .

I just moved again!A friend of mine told me the Green Box was the route to go instead of buying cardboard boxes and taping them up. I did my research and it seemed convenient, but a bit expensive vs getting boxes from U-Haul as I usually do. I called them up and realized they were aligned with The Professionals in which they are my preferred moving company so that was a no brainer. I called for a quote basically telling them I probably needed the studio 20 box package.I was told they would deliver the boxes within a 2 hour time frame and then pickup from my new apt whenever I was ready for them to pick up, but it had to be within 2 weeks after ordering. They also give you a dolly to move the boxes around which definitely comes in handy. As everyone else mentions here, there isnt any breaking down of boxes, getting a box cutter or scissors to cut the heavy ass tape. All you have to do is open the box, load and then close it shut...period point blank! I will never buy cardboard boxes again thanks to Chicago Green Box...awesome and convenient concept!

Seriously, seriously, fabulous. I used these boxes this weekend for my move--in the rain! So, that was very smart of me...it being plastic and all. But, I really want to give them a 5 star review for bringing me emergency boxes, during their off hours.(Thanks, Patricio!). They saved me from taking time off from work and those boxes hold a lot and can take a lot of abuse(heard, that from a friend). Great system.

Loved using the green boxes for our move. They picked up and delivered right on schedule. The boxes are very sturdy and makes the process much faster, very easy to stack and arrange in your home and on the moving truck. I wish I would have ordered more of them! Also, you don't have to break down boxes and take them out to recycling afterwards.
