I am really surprised at all of the bad reviews on here. I booked Lincoln Park Movers for my 9/1 move at the beginning of August. I received my confirmation email on 8/31 telling me to email back to confirm with them that they could arrive at noon. I did. Make sure that you email them back- if you don't, they cancel your move! The movers called me 9/1 to let me know that they were ahead of schedule and would be arriving shortly. It was 11:15! Great! The 3 man crew was very professional, friendly and fast! They didn't stop running around and I was very pleased with their service. They finished in under 3 hours and everything was in great condition. Thanks!!!

Like everyone else on this web site, I too, made a very poor decision to book Lincoln Park Movers. I didn't  check yelp for a review (stupid me) and found myself waiting and waiting.....(and still waiting) for Lincoln Park Movers to arrive. They are over two hours late and won't bother to return my calls. Unfortunately, YELP requires us to give 1 star - but they don't even deserve 1 star. Do yourself a huge favor -- choose a reliable, professional moving company. If you choose Lincoln Park Movers, you'll be left waiting in the dust like me. I plan on filing a letter with the Better Business Bureau and also sending e-mails to my friends and colleagues -- but, I also wanted to let YELPERS know that this company is pathetic. Good Luck with your move!

This place is a joke! Completely unreliable and unprofessional!  I was sent a confirmation email a few days in advance for a reservation on Aug.2nd in which it was stated, " This email serves as confirmation for your reservation....our movers will be there." Funny thing is they never showed up! I never received a phone call saying the movers would be late or anything. When I tried calling the phone number in my email all I got was a voicemail. Apparently this moving company doesn't think it is important to be open on Saturdays, the busiest moving day of the week! Because they never showed up I had to scrammble to find another moving company at 5:30 pm the day I was supposed to move! Luckily I was able to find someone available last minute and I was moved by the end of the night. DO NOT USE LINCOLN PARK MOVERS!!

So, I booked these guys weeks in advance. I saw their ad on Craigslist, and with rates that cheap I couldn't resist. A couple of days before I moved (8/22/08) I saw another ad on Craigslist warning people not to use them because they do not show up. I then came here and saw all the rest of the ads saying the same thing, so I tried to call them (their phone goes straight to voicemail) and then emailed them asking that someone please contact me ASAP.  A man called me back and assured me that the reviews here had been posted by competitors who were trying to sabotage his business. He guaranteed me that they would arrive on time and that I would be very happy with their service. I felt confident after speaking to him. He was very nice, friendly and reassuring.WRONG!They did not show up for my move. They called after I left 10 messages begging someone to please call me and let me know what was happening, but when they call back they always block the number. They told me after already being 2 hours late that they were having some issues, but they were on their way. I gave up after another 2 hours. I tried to call them back one more time, but never received any response at all. Haven't heard from them since!So, be warned. The guy seems really nice. He will tell you that these reviews are fake. He suckered me into not changing my moving arrangements and I wound up getting screwed. Save yourself the trouble and do not book with them. OR if you already have, make sure you have a back-up plan ready.
